thanks for all the info guys!! As I have been searching a little harder..i've found quite a few nice cars. You guys say 7 grand will get me a REAL nice 323 or 318is...any particular examples??? I'll post some links of cars i've been eying off, lemme know if they're any good. p.s. personally LOVE the 318is...no idea why, they just look HOT firstly...this one...minus the rims (says it comes with original BMW rims)...

Oh nice, thank god for that, haven't seen that one around that i can recall. There was a guy i used to see sometimes around glendale with a lowered red 318 with a loud as hell exhaust and big white rims, haven't seem him in aages. Which side of the lake are you on?

How are you, mate! I'm in the SE myself. I'll give you a yell if I see you around on the road. As for springs (and dampers, because you should match them. Stock dampers will die a quick death on lowered springs), it depends what you want. Looks? Performance?

Nice, i think ill go with the reg lows then. they look good now.... for some nice rims :P

I bugs me when I see a car advertised with some HOT HOT HOT wheels on it only to be disappointed to note that it will come to the new owner with the stock rims, making the car look somewhat more lame during your ownership than it would with say a pair of deep dish borbet porn wheels.
