Im not hanging shit on anything that isnt euro, im hanging shit on anything that deserves it. I worked for holden for a number of years, and the new ve is probably a good thing in a crash. All the esp and abs etc that they have now is definately a good thing in preventing some crashes. But holden will always be a number of years behind bmw, audi, vw etc. Saying that a vt/vx will come off better in the accidents that i have been in or seen, to...

Made an interesting discovery BTW. The T-Bar on the sedan is different to the convertible. The plastic bit that holds the globe that lights up the P,R,D,N etcf is broken on my wifes car. It annoys the crap out of her. On the convertibles, the plastic strip with the drive letters is on the drivers side of the T-Bar. On this car, its on the passenger side. I got the whole thing out of the wreck. That plastic bit is integral to the whole...

No one has shorter springs on their shelves somewhere? But generally what a bummer. And yep i found out about the spring seat hitting the tyre. I have to run +15 offset with a 7" width wheels on the front of my E30 just to clear the nuts. JUST. The change in track was very beneficial though.

coilover for e36 m3

I run KW V1 coilovers in my A4, and although not an M3, they ride well (stiffer than factory for sure), but do not jar your teeth out of your head. They also hold up really well to a bit of push and shove. I also have KW V2's in my E30, and they are hard but can be adjusted for some comfort as well. You should be able to find an Australian distributor that will supply a set for about the price you are looking for. If your not sold on the...

Chips mostly effect high end power, so unless you like driving up ur rev range u wont feel much different. Most chips increase ur rev limit, and richen up the mixture, so you will loose some fuel ecomony. But ur answer is yes, you will feel it if you get a good chip, they do "liven" up ur car, but dont expect miricles cost can be anywhere from $100-200 + getting it installed if you ...

The ABS won't cause the car to shudder whether it's working or not. Exactly under what circumstances does the car shudder? Driving steadily at 100kmh? Braking from 80kmh? Hard braking etc.

I had a 318i that came with E36 seats but I never really looked at the mountings as it was just a cheap daily slapper. Should have though, they were quite comfy and would have been nicer than the standard flattened crap that is in the 325i at present Although, I am 6'3" and one negative is that you cant move the seat back as far as a standard E30 seat
