OK, so I picked up the new LED and I love it. But I now I realize I "need" a Blu-Ray player to really enjoy it. The TV being a Samsung, and my never having any issues with them, I am seriously considering this , which is kind of their budget model. It got great reviews from most serious reviewers, though CNet does note that there is a large discrepancy between their reviews and customer reviews, an issue explored in this...

I tend to agree with the review that HTIB (Home Theatre In a Box) leaves something to be desired in the sound quality department, but they're OK for movies. Personally, I'd feel a bit cheated using them for listening to music. A separate A/V receiver from a manufacturer like Yamaha would probably give you better sound. Impedance shouldn't be an issue if your current speakers are 4 ohms minimum or higher.

I'd get new speakers and a new receiver, personally. the HTIB speakers usually are little tiny cubes with like 3" drivers and a seperate 8 or 10" subwoofer. I like speakers that an move more air than that. My favorite budget speaker is the Insignia NSB-2111 which are a best-buy generic brand but they're manufactured by a really high quality maker, I forget the name now...I own three pair. You can find them on sale...

So, I decided to get a new TV over the weekend (Friday after work, really). I had done some research and finally decided on the LN40B650 from Samsung, a very nice LCD TV. Check it out here: http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/t...ail&returnu rl= I looked around, and the store with it in stock locally was Fry's. I freaking hate Fry's. But hey, it's a new TV, so whatever. And their price ...

Sorry, don't know what else to call the monitor part. LOL The right side on my laptop monitor is floppy. I noticed it had come apart a little and I was able to snap it back into place, but it's still loose. Where is a good, inexpensive place to get it tightened? Or is this something I can do myself? I don't see any screws anywhere so I'm kind of lost.

Hey guys, Just thought some of you may want to know about this deal. Starting Sunday, Staples has an Epson Workforce 610 inkjet color all-in-one for $50 if you trade in an old printer (it's $100 without a trade in). Plus, after each of the 4 cartridges are depleted, you can trade them back in for $3/each, making the printer only $38. Reviews are pretty good on this printer, with the chief ...

Mobile phone companies have been lauded for slashing the cost of unlimited voice plans, but many wireless customers' monthly bills are actually going to get a bit more expensive. Last month, both Verizon and AT&T lowered their unlimited voice plans by $30 to $70 per month. Sprint recently unveiled a plan that allows unlimited calls to any mobile device for $60 per month. That brought the ...

I keep getting spam calls on my iPhone and they continue to call and harrass me even though I have instructed them to not call again. Is there any way I can block these jerks and their calls?? Thank you.

I have to say it. Is anybody following the iPad stuff? It's like being in study hall with fifth grade boys. I can't believe adult people are sniggering over the name iPad. Why *wouldn't* Apple name it that? It's not like they stretch a lot to be original. BTW, what do you think about this iPad anyway? I can't see myself lugging one around. I just don't see the enamor so far. http://cnn.com...
