We have a new destination -- Camping World in Mesa. Terry arrived back last night from his Phoenix eye doctor and dental appointment. In the meantime he made another appointment for this Friday because the glasses he had received didn't fit his eyes ... I guess that figures. Then, we had an RV tech install a new kitchen faucet when we were in Florida ..... we've had a leak ever since. I had to shut the water off to keep the floor...

Please infiltrate - please. We would love to have you guys join us and share all the your wisdom. I mean - you are so much older than we are because you've been fulltiming so much longer so you must have some wisdom some where. I'm headed for Casa Grande in the morning. I'm meeting up with a couple of 2009 classmates. I'm going to have to warn them about this class of yours. Sandie

We had a beautiful day today pleasantly worm and little if any wind. I finished re cleaning the truck and just sat in my lawn chair and watched the world go by. Tomorrow morning i'll go to that sq dance workshop at The Fountain of Youth. I...

QUOTE (Jack Mayer @ Dec 15 2009, 10:44 AM) Dang, Linda, you will likely escape before Danielle and I get to meet you. Yes, we're leaving our version of first thing tomorrow morning. If you decide to go walking in the rain, we're in the little View with the Segway hanging on the back in, I think, site 55. As Nick will tell you, I share my Hershey's Dark Kisses with people who stop by but I don't go out much...

Well it's time for some questions. I'm sitting in Harlingen, TX right now and going to be here for about 3 more weeks. So other than Padre Island is there anything else in the area worth seeing? Wildlife Preserves over by Mission? I guess I could go look for site to put in a Wind Generator. Just looking for suggestions here. Thanks, Mr. Spiker Oh and any of you that are in the area can thank me for the rain, just finished washing...

I don't want to burst anyones bubble but there is a better pie shop in Arizona. It is called Rock Springs and is in Black Canyon on I 17. They have the biggest variety of pies I've even seen. I didn't try their apple pie so Stout's might still be the best for apple.

I can't believe how hard it must be for non full timers travel. We're trying to get the MH ready to store for just a few weeks and get what we'll need for the motel / relatives life style and it's horrible. Empty the fridge, pack clothes, figure out maps remember tooth paste. Who knew how hard it would be. Maybe we should just cancel Christmas! Of course grandma Cathy has other ideas and I don't get to vote...

Once again I'm kinda of taking over so if I do something you don't like, please let me know. Under the thread "Where ARe You" we've posted a lot of info about Quartzsite and I would kind of like to keep that thread strictly for posting where everybody is at in their travels. There is no way to just move those posts to another thread (I asked Kellie about this) so I'm going to copy them ...

This will be a big change for you - you're adjusting, sort of grieving for what was. It is perfectly natural to feel this way. One of the things to do is use this time to have each one pick a favorite ornament to take with you, or make plans to meet in California for next Christmas. Try saying out loud "this is the last time I'll have to do xyz, what a relief" or something along that ...

I'm new to rving and have some questions. What qualifies you as "Class of 2006"? What is going on at Quartzsite that everyone is looking forward to? Finally what is an SKP number? I've been reading everything I can to learn the special language of rvers. Thanks.

Slomo, As a newbie on this site, this is the first post I have seen in regards to the "class of 2010, a fulltiming odyssey!" (thanks Stanley Kubrick). I was originally shooting for 2012, but just can't seem to wait that long. Since I am retiring from local Government I will have 30 years in so a decent pension, medical coverage for life, and still young enough to enjoy it. I will be 53 ...

Wow, what a scare, I have never ever thought to check the mounting hardware on our towing set-up but I will now. We have the RoadMaster equipment on the CRV 2008 model. But glad to hear that you were able to bring the car and MH to a save stop and without damage to the vehicles. This will open alot of eyes for those who are towing 4 down. Thank-you for the info Peter....

Garry & Jenny - Oh my!!! I'm so sorry that you are having so many problems...I certainly don't wish for you to be in the lead! Could you be having a leak somewhere else that is causing the cabinets to pull away?? I sure hope not! I sure hope that you can get the manufacturer involved and get this resolved. Surely they would not want a customer with a problem like this...sounds ...

You do it one room at a time. Enter the room, empty ALL of the trash, and take it out to the garbage. Re-enter the room and divide what is left into sell and give away piles. Take the give-away pile to Goodwill. List the sell pile on Craig's list, work bulletin board, etc. 2 weeks later take what hasn't sold to Goodwill. Take a look at what is left and divide into sell or give ...
