As it turns out, I was forgetting to compile with the --with-php-config flag. Using this fixed both Xdebug and APC.

Upgrading to Apache 2.2 helped. Leopard server couldn't manage the upgrade, I had to. Now I need to find a way to let Server Admin know that it's not using 1.3 anymore.

Marc states on his site that he doesn't support older OS releases, so probably not.

Figured this out. It can be added as a dynamic extension to the entropy install. Follow the basic instructions on the php solr page (link above) with the following slight modifications. I have posted these on the php solr manual page too. If you want to add the Solr extension to your exisiting PHP install, you need to make sure you use the same API to build the extension as was used...

Your NDA does not allow you to discuss Leopard in a public forum like this, I'm sorry. If I find some time I'll look into it, but that won't be soon...

Unfortunately right now only the commercial PDFlib is available in the 5.2.9 and 5.3.x builds. As soon as I get to it I'll try to add the free PDFlib. Until then the only way is to buy a license key, or use the old package.
