Well for those who like the figure, than all the power to you. Legends was never my thing to begin with. The G1 Deco is not that bad, but nothing spectacular either. Alot like this toyline.

My Alternity Bumble review

Thanks for the review, Diem! Your review gave me the info I needed to finalize my decision to purchase Alternity Bumble and perhaps Cliff. How well does the figure pose? What would your rough estimate be for the die cast content when you compare Bumble to the hefty Convoy and less hefty Megatron figures? Hmm, my main criticism is that Bumble is the same height as Convoy in bot mode. I was hoping it would have been a bit shorter. The bot mode...

Okay, I'm gonna head to bed now, though I'll answer any questions or photo requests in the morning. As a final note, I was looking at his instructions: as well as a text story called "The World Is Flat" which I'm too tired to translate, there are a couple of interesting points: his pistols are described in the Power Plans as "Chrono-venom Stinger Guns" (um...what?) and his Function is listed...

If the latter, pretty lame that the online stores don't pass those savings along. In singapore, the retail price for bee and cliffy indeed is cheaper than convoy or megatron....

His scale just totally pisses over the good of getting him I think. So where do you stand in regards to scale....to care or not to care? Octane's the same height as Astrotrain, and around 70% of the rest of the Henkei line. ...

I'm guessing no-one except maybe those who grew up with BW. The beast formers are not terribly popular toys (maybe because it often involves standing them upright and rearranging limbs) and the whole point of Alternators was the up-to-date and fully detailed car mode.

And Blaster is right ther eon the box. It's like they're teasing us! On the mouse: it looks MUCh more like the planned Dinobot and nothing like Grimlock. And why is Trypticon always a tiny dinosaur now? Cool colors tho.

There has been speculation that the next Encore figures will be Devastator and the Dinobots. When it comes to Masterpiece, the only thing I can see in the future is Hasbro Thundercracker. For a possible new mold, your guess is as good as mine.

ooo, that's pretty cool. I can't wait to see him. I wonder if it will be the Universe version or the Henkei version? It's sounding like the Universe version sadly.

Honestly I don't know anymore. I have some on display at work, some on display at home, and a lot in storage. If I had to guess I would say between 700 and 800, probably more.

Wow, I'm the first one to comment? Oh, happy day. I only have one question ... With third party companies like FansProject making add-on and accessory kits that are actually pretty good in quality, is Hasbro going to follow this trend and start making Transformers that the fans want, or are we going to get another series of single molds recolored 4 to 5 times?

Welcome aboard! I'm a completionist, so I'm probably the worst to answer this question, but if you're looking for great figures, and can handle the relatively high prices, the Classics and Universe 2.0 lines will not disappoint. Some truly epic figures, like Classics Optimus Prime, Classics Mirage, Classics Astrotrain, U2.0 Octane, U2.0 Cyclonus, among others are some of the best representations...
