Current waiting time for lap at...

His secretary's number is 01902 695 152 I would recommend to keep calling periodically. With the amount of time you've been waiting I would recommend speaking to Pals at this point as it is a little daft you having to wait so long. I would pen a letter to the CEO of the hospital as I think someones said before that they take things very seriously at that point. I hope you get some answers soon.

hi lulu, so glad you got a postive result and are on way to getting things sorted. do you have your injection in your bum them? i had zolly last one run out this month so just waiting for the dreaded periods to return already had a bit of spotting, but i had my injections in my stomach and got they hurted at first (he used a spray in the first instance) but each time after that i got given a local thank god. does it hurt you, if it does let...

Hi Robin, I run my usual routes at this time of year, the dark doesn't bother me, but I wear a hi vis running jacket so that people can see me coming! I do my long run (2hrs) on Saturdays and start while it's still light. I'll try a swim this weekend - I have a pullbuoy for drills so I don't need to kick. How are you doing? MM

Hi Sades I'm sorry to hear that you've had a similar experience to what I had at that hospital in terms of pharmacy communication problems and no one coming to see you. I had the same thing happen to me there. It's just not on to leave someone in pain, especially to send them home after extensive surgery in it! Feel free to moan, if you're in pain, you're in pain! Who told you that pregnancy would resolve the endo?...

Does anyone have the contact details for Chris Mann or his secretary - ideally an email address? Have phoned lots and either speak to the waiting list people (who can't really tell me anything) or get told that his secretary will contact me later. Have also written to the department (over 3 months ago) and didn't get a reply to that. Was thinking maybe a direct email plea for help might work - certainly haven't got anything to...

YAY! I am so glad that you have had a posiftive appointment, it does upset me when the nicest of people suffer. Did you bring up your GP's reluctance to give you decent painkillers, because not wanting to disillusion you but i am on my 2nd injection of zolly and i am still having a few bad pain days dotted about. Anyhoo, great news!! x

Aww thanks Dee I did ask him about the pain killers he did sort of fob me off on that part, saying that this should work but stick with the tramadol or the dihydrcodine and see how it goes. I think that my gp will be more willing to help me now I've seen the hospital. But that's another battle I feel stronger to fight. Sorry you sre still suffering hun xx

Hi I am waiting to have my mirena changed Iv had in for 3 years and got a lot of relief from the heavy bleeding. I do suffer with spots not sure if its the coil or not it worth giving it a go if you don't get on with it you could always have it taken out. You say you are having fitted during you lap probably a good thing as sometimes the fitting can be uncomfortable. I hope your appointment goes well and you get some useful information...

Hey hun, You're doing the right thing not letting the masses get you down - I agree whole-heartedly with your assessment that they are likely benign too. I think from your history of endo and adhesions it sounds like more of the same. I'm not sure I'd be as good at keeping perspective as you are though! I really enjoy running too although haven't done it for a while due to the dark nights. Where do you run this time of...

Hi Hi, Sorry you are feeling so bad, to be discharged without painkillers is just not on! I would encourage you to contact PALS when you are feeling a little better. You probably need to go and see you GP in the morning to get some proper pain relief. Hope you feel better soon

Awww hun... Ranting is good for you!
How long have you been on the painkillers for? Sometimes when you have been on them for a while your body builds a resistance to them so a bigger doseage is
needed for adaquate pain relief.
You can never be at the docs too often and don't let anyone make you feel that way. Having said that though, i feel exactly the same, i feel like a junkie

Poole has a dedicated endo treatment centre. Go to the Poole hospital website & search for Endometriosis treatment. I have been treated there & I'm
very happy with the standard of care I've received. If you would like more info then send me a personal message & I'll try to help.

You know what i am going to say..... you really must see your GP about the bleeding, it could very well be an problem that could be easily rectified thus
increasing your mood.
It's not a lot of fun hun and you seem to be getting a hard deal of it of late. You don't want a hyst, it won't help you, in fact in the long run
it could make things worse.

MM - I have tears welling up just reading your post. I can hear the emotion in your voice and the utter devastation endo has caused you.
I am so so so sorry and wish there was something useful or helpful I could say - but there really isn't.
I can't even begin to imagine how I would feel if I reached the point you have, it's heartbreaking.
I am sending you all the love in the world ...

Hiya,
Right first off it is important to know that the mirena CAN cause worsing of depression but it doen't nessecery mean you will suffer this side effect. I
have had mental health problems in the past and i didnh find that the mirena made them worse for me, but my case is complex and is't just depression.
The mirena coil is a very good treatment for a whole aray of gynae problems and works ...

Hi Cat
I'm sorry you've been so worried. I can understand it as the guidelines are quite strict on the paperwork. However, I had my first prostap injection
about 2 months ago. The gyny did it 18 days into my cycle. I think they prefer to do it within the time frame but it's obviously not essential. I've
had the normal side effects but nothing more. Fingers crossed you're feeling more ...
