Make sure you activate "Enable Dual Core" and "Enable Idle Skipping" under Basic settings. Also, under Advanced settings, activate "Optimize Quantizers" and "DSP on Thread" Try running the games under both DX9 and OGL plugins and disable any Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtoring options. Good luck.

lol, forgot to mention my settings. yes, i did have all of that initially. idk y performance is dragging, cause i though any 64 bit system with a processor over 2.20GHz should bring good overall performances with most titles. thanks for the response though. does anyone have any other ideas? could it be vista thats slowing it down? thanks again

Converting files
Published (2009-12-19 18:50:00)
I want to continue Sarah's work on the .CMDL convert/viewer (mostly the converter.) I know he can't give out the file information over the web, so I guess I'll be starting from scratch. The reason why I'm posting here, though, is because I have *NO* idea where to start. I don't know what to look for, etc. So if someone could walk me though the process of converting a file (something legally, obviously.) or point me to...

Using a Real Wiimote
Published (2009-12-23 02:43:00)
The "sensor" bar isn't actually a sensor bar at all. It just contains a few infrared LEDs that a sensor in the Wiimote uses to calculate its orientation. That said, I wouldn't think the Wiimote could be used to "point" at anything onscreen without some sort of infrared signals (IE a "sensor" bar) to use as a reference point.

I don't know if this forum is dying or what..... But lately it seems that nobody is willing to give simple advice. In my experience, Dolphin emulation is pretty much on par with PCSX2 emulation. If your rig is able to run *some* PS2 games at full speed, you will be able to run some GC/Wii games at full speed to. I don't really see any weaknesses with your setup (except maybe for the...

Comparing PC game performance to emulation is like comparing apples and oranges. At least make an effort to name your processor and video card, then update your graphics card drivers if you haven't done so lately. Believe i or not, that can make a difference. What is the "latest ver." to you?

Because the game isn't fully supported? Just move on to another game. It's not like the end of the world if XD refuses to work.
