Lock Text
I am looking for a way to "lock" text in an email so the original email cannot be changed by the recipient. I use gmail. Hope someone knows how to do this.

The reason I'm wondering about this is that I thought they were encrypted, but the other day, I received an email from one of my providers indicating that my account was setup and ready, and it included my password in
plain text. Needless to say, I changed the password immediately, but I'm not sure that it matters if they could see the original password.
Anyone know about these things?
