Why even bother moving items from Trash to an archive folder? Set the Trash folder to never auto-delete and it serves as an archive.

is this really a cheaper way of getting virtual domains? it seems , in the long run, it is more expensive. it's not really a back door, as it is mentioned on the help pages. i've just changed my account to a family for this reason?

Just seen the new login page, because I got logged-out for the first time in several months. (Now that I have my own computer, I usually go straight to my inbox without seeing the login screen (or collecting £200).) I agree with previous comments; very impressive.

As you say, this gets asked quite a bit, so I'll give my abbreviated version: I stay with FM because (in no particular order): 1) I have privacy concerns with an advertising company providing "free" email 2) File storage and simple website hosting 3) Reliability -- Gmail has admitted to losing emails in the past 4) Gmail threading is horrendous 5) Can have HTML images ...

ugh, Last year I was bumped up into a higher age bracket. Yuck. I don't need to be reminded any more than I am! For others reading this thread, the answer is 50 user domains and 500 user domain aliases (of any length) for Enhanced accounts. You also get 30 regular (5 or more characters) and 3 short (2 or more characters) at Fastmail owned domains. In an old thread, Rob Mueller said he might be able to increase the user domain limits if it caused difficulties for anyone. It's just hard to manage that ...

i meant it is more expensive overall compared to if one took out the individual account (ad free v lite). However, it is worth it for the virtual domain features, in my case, as I do not want or require an enhanced account just for that purpose.
