Well, version 3 is a huuuuge improvement from version 2. I don't care much for version 2 to be honest. It feels pretty obsolete.

Good old bad old Microsoft.

Heh? You mean probably that US government staff cannot access it from their work computers, rather than a general ban of the website? Regardless how to interpretate it, it sounds a bit odd. Unless there is a hidden agenda behind a site, why would a government invest time in blocking it? Anyways, I sent an email to Cotse just to test the speed and helpfulness of their support. Let´s see if their answers to my (fairly standard) questions are...

Question for you-Reply to Address

There is no way to find out whether any email address is 'real' or alias. So it's a moot point to worry which one to use.

I think privacy policy statements are misunderstood. For example, the Tuffmail policy statement excerpt above seems understandable and satisfactory to me. Google is likely a better custodian of your data and identity than some people realize. I would be more concerned about a software security breach, regardless of what the privacy policy statement says, rather than front door requests.

Not speaking from experience but they tend to have a reputation of being extremely reliable and secure, some government organisations and famous people use them. They have been around many years and built a very good reputation.
But it comes with a price tag that is not really affordable for the average private person, so they seem to be orientated more towards organisations and companies. ...

Looks pretty good. If you're in the market for this, you may also look into
other solutions like LiveOffice and IMAPBackup.

I've never had a paid NetZero account, but between this revelation and the recent discontinuation of their PrivatePhone free voicemail service, it sounds like NetZero is going out of its way to ensure that there's no good reason to use their services. (Not to mention some of their lame policies, such as one I mentioned elsewhere about requiring users to call a $1.95 per minute phone number in ...

I'd have to let you know. I don't feel like logging in yet to see if my account has been deleted or not.
I haven't logged into webmail since August 2008.
If I try to check my mailbox via POP, I get the message "Free users must have at least one web browser login in a month". So, it would seem that SAFe-mail.net still recognizes my account name.

You may want to look into Rackspace. They're really starting to shape up.
I don't really get what you mean by 'No need to set up MX Records.' though. Assuming you're looking to use your own domain, that's a requirement.

I've received two such "unsolicited" password change request notices for two different live.com addresses a few days apart, the last one 3 days ago, both sent to my "alternate" email addresses, and was fairly easily able to determine which accounts they were in regard to, since I had intentionally created aliases which would "code" that information to me.

Question for you-Reply to Address
Hello,
I created an alias e-mail address to put on my resume.
If a potential employer e-mail's me using the alias I created -is it proper e-mail etiquette to use my real e-mail address in the Reply to Address box?
OR Should I just use my real e-mail address on my resume?
Thanks,
