Quote from: Street Sports on December 09, 2009, 12:46:58 PM I am running into a similar problem with my maps changing. For drivability I started out with a 100kpa map and tuned a car. Then I rescaled the map to be a 200kpa map. I tried cutting the entire map and pasting and the numbers would not work. I even tried copying just the top row numbers and tried to paste it on the new 100kpa row, it still...

yes, the EMS dosnt referance time dirrectly, it uses micro bits with an assigned value of time (dosnt know what -0- is) your PW is determined by raw....your fuel map in raw will be (raw x mb/sec = pw) so if you lower the mb/sec without changing raw your PW will lower also, sometimes if you change the mb/sec value from odd to even #'s there will be some interpolation changes but your final PW change will not effect fueling (it will be...

Do you have a 24x wheel? You say 48, but GM used 24x and 58x <-- (60-2) AEM cuts the tooth count down to 8 teeth per cycle (4 teeth per revolution) when I look at the tooth control table for the LS1 engine. From the moment after the first tooth event ( zero ) to the second tooth event ( one ) there will be 90 degrees of crankshaft rotation. From second to third even, another 90 degrees will pass, and so on. So basically, the EMS will...

Currently, engine load will only read correctly on the dash if you are using an AEM 3.5bar MAP. Unfortunately, this is hard coded into the aim dash and cannot be changed.

Quote from: dsddcd on December 04, 2009, 08:05:31 AM The problem is that the change seems to be based on the row and column not the actual value. So I am nor sure what is happening. I think I might have an idea for your problem.. if I'm understanding it correctly Try opening a start up map from the base files and paste your values in and see if it does the same thing. If the values paste correctly, go to...

Yes youright, I also wonder why , I'm a noob to advice on this but I'll to know why and also learn from this, maybe some of the experts can tell us what is causing it to do that.

This should help quite a bit, cut and pasted from the "Undocumented AEM settings" document that is floating around. "Injector Phase- synchronizes the injection event to the valve opening angle for best emissions and throttle response. Changing this value moves all of the injectors advanced or retarded in relation to TDC. Use: Move this number up or down to obtain the best idle, and ...

On that same table click on the "FUNCTIONS" tab click the drop down menu and find the LS output for the RAD FAN the you can change the ON/OFF settings, just make sure to keep the default settings on the "outputs" tab since you already play with them.

the table you're questioning is whats used to setup the iac position vs rpm. Without the IAC it's going to be tough to get a consistent idle, but there's a couple things you can do: Be sure you have good resolution at idle and that the idle cells are tuned well so there's no afr swings run a bit lower timing than you normally would, however this may make the car stall at times ...

I am fairly certain it will work. Contact AIM Sports to be sure.

1. The automap feature in AEMPro is intended to be used on a dyno where it is possible to hold the engine in one load cell for a certain amount of time. 2. Quite a few tuners have reported the automap feature isn't as fast or safe as manually adjusting the fuel map. Don't forget that a misfiring engine will result in inaccurate AFRs. Some sort of update will be included in future ...

That's funny, I was just replying to your other thread and talked about the Retard Switch and EBC and thought about this while typing. Place a manual switch in line and have control of your Lo/Hi Boost with this safety. Then use your NOS map and configure it on the same switch so when the ground is cut and the EBC goes to Lo Boost the NOS map takes away the fun by adding fuel and ...

I spoke to AEM technical support and they told me that at one point they intended to have full support for MAF, but that it became too hard to actually implement so they gave up but left the MAF calibration table there. So the morale of the story is that the AEM is not a MAF ECC, it is just speed density -- dnt waste your time like I did playing around with the various MAF options, they...
