I started watching Sons of Anarchy last night. Big mistake. I had planned on doing some college work this afternoon but thats never gonna happen now! I'm already 4 episodes in and its brilliant. A big so far. Quite a few familiar faces too which was surprising.

It sounds from that like the interviewer suggested Lily, the producer laughingly said "yeah she'd be good", and then they reported it as if it was his idea. Doubt there's a scrap of anything behind it. That'd said, she could be fun.

Well they're hardly going to sound upset. They picked him. Never saw him in anything. He seems decent enough though.

So whats hot and whats not this year? I've only seen Fringe of the new stuff and it looks ok, not amazing. I'll probably watch it. Read a preview of the other shows and nothing sticks out. Recommend me stuff.

The last book I read was Flat Earth News by Nick Davies. shocking and depressing, it's amazing how little we're told by the news media about what's going on in the world, and of what we are told, you can't believe most of it. Highly recommended.

eeeeeeee Doctor Who thread What did people think of the Christmas special? I had near-zero expectations after last year's Kylie Minogue-led disaster, this one was good though. Nice few twists and humourous lines, plus the feel-good ending was pretty perfect for Christmas, really. Wish they'd bring in some new enemies though, I'm sick to death of them bringing in the Daleks and the Cybermen so ...

I doubt this will be used much but how and ever we should have one. Why should have one, well cos I want to talk about the play I was at last night. So I went to see No Man's Land by Harold Pinter at the Gate, starring David Bradley, Nick Dunning, Michael Gambon and David Walliams. First off Michael Gambon si the greater actor I've ever seen in real life, not that I've seen a whole ton but f*ck ...
