Thanks for so much information everyone!! :) The missing paperwork has been FOUND! So yay on that, but it kibashed our vacation. Again. So we are going in July of this year when we are home. I know A LOT more kennels and vets and have many more places out there, including a few wonderful boarding facilities where even the kitties get playtime. I feel much more comfortable boarding them at home, so I hate waiting for my vacation (AGAIN), but...

Happy BirthdayTerry. It sounds like you are having a nice birthday. My husband is the same as yours. There is always an excuse for cake, cookies, pie...you name it. I just try to keep things in moderation, but that doesn't usually work LOL. Best wishes and enjoy your cheesecake and ring. Robin

Hazel was 18 years, one month, and one day old when she left us last night. :( It has been a long journey since I last posted here about her. She got very sick a week ago and I took her to the vet where she was put on sub-q fluids to help her kidney disease. She was doing really, really well. Jamie and I had plans to go away this week for my birthday. Leaving Hazel behind was not a decision I wanted to make and I'm glad I didn't...

This morning it was 36 degrees (F) and pouring down rain when my son left for the bus stop at 6:45 AM. I suggested that he wear a rain coat, but he looked outside and decided that his hooded sweatshirt (over a short sleeve polo) would be plenty. He waited out there for 5 minutes in the rain. Buzz on the other hand looks out at the cold rain and turns around as if to say "maybe later...

DH and I are planning a trip to Orlando in February for our anniversary.. What we call our *Annivacationmoon*, since we have not had any of those since we have been together. We have decided to not take any pets. That was a HARD decision. I have not been away from ANY of my pets since I have had them. I heard a noise behind the washer and dryer, and I went and got the flashlight to look behind them. Looking for a leak or a rodent or a big bug or something. I found nothing, but I started playing with Kewpie with the flashlight like one would do with a cat, AND SHE BARKED AT IT AND CHASED THE LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kewpie isn't completely blind! She could see it, and she had fun with it!...

My IL's adopted a dalmatian (Daisy) that was dropped off on their land.. This morning, while she was sleeping on the porch, someone shot her. Just out of nowhere, on her own land, minding her own business. For no reason. None. In broad daylight. She passed away very quickly, before they could even get her to a vet. *Sigh* :(

I read the book marley and Me a few years ago. My 10yo son read the kid version of it. We all went to see the movie today. It was great! It was so funny and heart warming.
