Here is a question for gls/gt owners alike. My wifes 04/gls and my 05/gls have always read identically on the temp gauge. The gauge NEVER goes beyond 1/2 way on any given day. Hot days or cold, day or nite, weekdays of weekends, it ALWAYS stays just a click below the 1/2 way mark. Hers gets up to temp a little faster than mine but the readings are always the SAME. The wifes heater/ac will only blow air on the HIGH setting. 1/2/3 are a no-go! Common sense tells me it's the switch but i have heard there are also relays that can cause this problem. My dad's stock 01 gls has had a problem the last two years or so. When the seasons change (ie during the fall and spring) his car throws the CEL. Usually he just ignores it and it eventually goes away. I tried to clear the code while I was home and I couldn't (meaning the problem still exists). The car has appox 104,000 miles. As you I lowered my car 1.5"...im happy with the drop, but my springs are still squeaking after putting hose around the spring. But how about I try WD-40 that stops squeaks, would that work???

Hey Guys, Great site you have here. Long time lurker, first time poster. My issue is with a 2002 Elantra GT. For a several years now I've been noticing uneven tire wear affecting outside edge on left front wheel. I have done multiple alignments, wheel/tire shuffling, tire balancing etc. All to no avail. In addition to the tire wear, car also pulls to the left and i get strong steering wheel...

Alright so my car is already de-badged and the only thing remaining are the crooked h's. new emblems are on the way and im getting to remove the oem's. how does the one on the trunk lid come off? i know its taped and do believe they have posts going through the lid. is it like bloted/melted/speed nut into place? i cannot get to the back of the emblem because my entire trunk lid is dynamated!
