There are literally hundreds of subwoofer manufacturers out there, for a nearly limitless number of applications. What you ask is impossible. Maybe if you told us what it was for, the price range, and gave us some choices we could help. Personal bias also comes into play heavily here. Kicker FTW.

why an amp and no subs? you can just leave them connected to the hu but if youre putting an amp in you might as well hook them to the amp... its not gunna do anything unless you hook something up to it.
