SirHenry@Ed Debba: Aldo my dear boy, how's the alcoholism coming along? A couple of bottles of coors light Sir Henry. Probably not your tipple though. It's like sex in a canoe - f*****g close to water :o) SirHenry@Ed Debba: Really, for your own good I'd stop prodding the socialists. I will eventually, but for the time being I enjoy watching them recoil in horror from good, old fashioned common sense. It really is...

Harsh, I thought that on reading it too. Just for info- many of the tasks mentioned for nurses earlier are done by auxiliary nurses nowadays, with qualified nurses often doing more technical tasks. However, given that they get intensive training for the area they work in- degree entry looks like a con http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/details/Default.aspx?Id=485

So, like Richard Dawkins, you admit no possibility of the child having independent religious experiences and beliefs. In fact, possibly like the BHA, you would deny the child that possibility. Little respect there..

Pointless Qualifications.
Published (2009-11-26 23:47:00)
The ITQ 2 was free because I am on jobseeker's allowance. I did that on Saturday mornings 9-1 at our local learning shop and loved it. For ITQ 3 I got the fee off the jobcentre but it was run at the actual college site where I'd been accused of making a fraudulant application to join the Level 5 specialist qualification in teaching literacy (this to build on my City and Guilds 9281 Teaching Literacy...

Unqualified Learning Mentors
Published (2009-11-26 09:42:00)
there are cases where posts are advertised but externally only, so peeps in the school itself have no idea So one morning a Learning Mentor turns up at Reception and says "Hi, I'm your new LM. Where can I meet the HT?" If a job is advertised externally, it is the responsibility of the applicant to look for it.

Ah, that Hegelian Dialectic thing again where everything that refutes your religion is used by you and yours to justify it.. Yea, it was just one region that they studied... Puhleese... And I also seem to remember that one of your minions here happened to say that ocean sediments were akin to a Gold Standard to this type of research.. And I thought that the Medieval Warming Period did not exist in your dogma..

Of the millions of cars in the UK, the Police stopped your husband in your car on the very day the insurance appeared to the Police computers (which possibly don't keep up with the update schedule of every online insurer in the land) and pulled him? They spotted a random car proceeding in an orderly manner and just decided to run its plates? Have you ever been hit or hurt by an ...

I don't think there's much can be done about it - they'll move the server to a jurisdiction where it can't be touched. Besides, the popularity of the site is fading. By launching a public campaign all we would do is make it more popular.

No. What is the stance of the main church? Are they sticking to the idea that the Irish church practised i.e. keeping such abuse a secret and protecting/ moving the abuser?

What you write is sadly all too common in teaching. I left a school because I was just fed up of exactly the behaviour you outlined - cliques freezing others out (including myself on occasions), deliberately withholding information to make another person look stupid, talking loudly about a FANTASTIC evening in the pub (yeah, right) they had all had the night before in front of someone...

It's the magistrates that are Turkish. The Clerk Of The Court is Spanish so you can imagine.

It probably will turn out to have all been pointless in the end. Remember Lord Hutton sitting looking all severe and badass for four months? Everyone expected Blair to be privately drafting his resignation letter. But in the end the old pr*ck let him away with murder (literally!) and the Butler report wasn't much better - although it did, at least, contain a little bit of condemnation ...

I am too annoyed as this author's utter determination to avoid placing the blame with the pointless inadequate selfish parents of these kids to even type a reply.

Much as I would disagree with any pursuit of Tony Blair in relation to these matters (and it will not happen), I cannot believe that he accepted the jurisdiction of the ICC with reservations. Bush was eminently sensible in refusing to accept its justiciability over the US.
