Vin is a school money recipient,in some way or another.I do not believe for a minute that Toby-I mean Vin doesn't have his/her hand in the SWCS pot.I will not deal with this liar, that denies facts even when given sources. How is the recount going? There had to be fraud involved with the "broken machines".Never in all the years that I have voted have I seen a vote go from 60% against-40% for with a 35% sampling-and then...

But this is the case everywhere. I have lived and worked in big cities, and there is just as much - even MORE - such influence occurring on an even grander scale in many of those locales. The only difference is that it is easier to overlook or hide it in a larger city or county, or a more bloated bureaucracy. Influence and favoritism is nothing new, and it certainly is not an invention of Glenn County.

Wow it is getting deep in here, Time to go buy the rubbers boots? This is the most active I have ever seen this thread. This debate is getting a little heated though. Lets try to keep it in perspective. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, Some of these opinions will never change. Just something for thought. Have a great night.

Since when is a dozen years ago considered archaic? The law that stopped funding for students who are not in school, SB727 was passed with an overwhelming vote. Legislators thought it would place the incentives in the right place, making attendance important for the government school system where money for the adult employees is paramount. Getting rid of the ...

Let's see, you have your own psychologist, while our entire district has one for all grade levels. You have a nurse, we have health aides- parents hired to call mommy and have her pick up her child. You have your own language and speech therapist, again, we have one for the entire district. You have a librarian, we have an aide, another parent paid minimum wage to keep track of check outs. And ...

I was astonished to discover that Corporal punishment is still allowed in certain US states and that domestic spanking is allowed in all of them. I grew up in a country where domestic spanking was widespread there and most of my class mates were sparked heavily my generation, who in their twenties now. I remember their cries and their fear to show up at home with any bad or mediocre mark. But ...

You have to wonder about these kid's parents, but it is totally unacceptable that a school would try to punish kids for extracurricular activities.

What mortgage company is holding Mr. Jones house? It would be a great time to call them and pepper them with requests to speed the proceedings along on his foreclosure. Get that guy outta here while the time is right. Anyone else who doesn't support the schools can feel free to vacate too. You and your lack of dollars will be missed.

Fire them all! Parents should teach their own kids! If you want a teacher for your kids, either pay her yourself, or chip in and share with your neighbors. Maybe she could take a room at your house, then you could pay her even less! Why feed those diploma factories? Close the schools, close the colleges! Who REALLY needs an education, anyway? Privatize everything!! Woohoo!!!

VOX POPULI. The only winner here tonight is Larry Tramutola who was paid $80,000 of taxpayer dollars for his bad political advice. Now the Dist. will spend more money on December 29 for another election? Mismanagement, mismanagement, mismanagement. As a teacher in Lennox for over 20 years, I agree with the concerns of many about this present board. They have made many terrible decisions and brought about a general feeling of fear, intimidation, and anxiety in Lennox. Speaking to Mr. La Madrid's comment about our test scores, he's referring to our Math scores. The present board fired the person who brought the new math program to our ...
