Tell Edgar that for some reason it's comforting to know he's back out there growing. Swim has started getting heavily into
cultivation lately, and is quickly becoming obsessed.
*edit* 800!

I believe it's easier to start a culture indoors, then plant them outdoors.
It would also be easier to plant them in your yard, however if they are growing, make it so the pigs can't prove you cultivated them? "It's growing wild, officer"!
But if you do have some started on cardboard, and plant them in the proper species of woodchips, under a
tarp, you have to water them periodically, but...

I checked with CBS in The Netherlands. They have at least 3 different
strains. The ATCC should also carry A. muscaria. They will be fruiting here shortly. Fresh ones do not ship well. Worms appear, and they are usually received rotten. slp/fmrc

You would not want to use it in a casing layer as the
composted manure will be nutritious. It is worth considering it as an additive to a bulk substrate though. The more complex a bulk substrate, the more different ingredients, the better. There is no proven best ratio for most of the possible bulk substrate constituents. Considering, however, that well composted manure will likely turn in ...

Swim suggests getting a seedling mat to place under the tote, and using spacers to lower the temp if it's too high, but that may depend on the ambient temp in the room. Seedling mats are only really good for raising the temp 10-
20 degrees, any more and the aquarium heater should work. If swiy is worried about it overheating tell him not to. Most newer aquarium heaters have a dry shutoff in ...

Polyfil seems to be the more popular hole filler. The holes are there for GE. Shrooms give on CO2 and it's important to get rid of it in the FC. CO2 is also heavier than normal air, so putting the holes just above your
base line is a good idea too. Holes at the top aren't going to bleed of the CO2, where holes at the bottom will.
By the time that you're fruiting, the myc should be able to ...
