The truth is, no one knows what the true cost is for dealers (except dealers themselves). The numbers I provided earlier from CR pricing report factor in known dealer holdback and/or any other known rebate or incentives. However, the bottom line is, there are always room to negotiate even below the CR bottom line.

The basic principle of the carbeurator is retained in the FI engine. Except that instead of the rushing air syphoning off gas from the bowl, the computer bases its descision on the readings from the mass air flow sensor and the prmiary O2 sensor. The benefit is that computer can adjust the air fuel ratio on the fly, where the carb was limited to the jet setting. Jets can be replaced, but the adjustment would remain throughout the...

You're right it's not rocket science...BUT... there are just a few things I wouldn't attempt myself. I've even watched the DIY videos from CollegeHill Honda, but am too scare to try it myself. Mainly, I'm looking for someone in the local area who does accessory installation. I want to add on the tailgate spoiler and the fog lights. Anyhow, there must be people who does this kind of job right?? thanks for the...

Honda charges a $595 inception fee on each lease. It is standard and not negotiable though you could roll it into the payment. Aside form the sale price, most leases include an inception fee, 1st month payment, and a fee for doing the tags on the vehicle. Generally this adds up to about $1100 on a vhicle stickered under $30000. The "assignment fee" you stated above appears to be a dealer fee for doing the paperwork on the...

"The benefit is that computer can adjust the air fuel ratio on the fly, where the carb was limited to the jet setting. Jets can be replaced, but the adjustment would remain throughout the RPM range." Of course we had a "Cure" for that, as much as could be done in those days. THE 4 BBL CARBURETOR and multiple carbs, such as Pontiac's "Tri Power". As far as OEM stuff was concerned....

Hi tonys44. Honda is not currently providing lease support on the 2008 CR-V, so I am not surprised that the dealer that you are working with is running your lease through an independent bank. The best way to determine if this is a good deal is to look at this truck's selling price. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them. If ...

Read The Fine Manual = RTFM. Flashing "D" light indicates something that is mentioned in the Owners Manual.
Owner's Manuals are usually the best starting place when looking for information.
P.S. You will need code scanner to determine what the actual problem is.

jjoslin, I had no trouble with Gurley Leep. I would recommend getting online quotes from Chicago area dealers (larger volume dealers) and use that as a negotiating tool. I did this on other cars I purchased with them and they usually came in close to those quotes.

I have a 2004 LX, 48K miles. I keep the climate control on recirc almost all the time, to keep out Atlanta traffic fumes. This is whether the A/C is on or not.
In the past several months I've noticed fumes seeping in anyway, whereas when it was new, there would be none. A few months ago I had the cabin filters changed, but it didn't help.
Could this be a seal or gasket that needs ...

Good news! After the dealership offered me a quote to replace my differential, I called Honda Customer Service. Within a week (I had to call them twice) they made the decision to replace my differential at no cost to me! Good luck to anyone out there with the same issue. Very discouraging, but I commend Honda for standing behind their product.

I got it sorted now through ipod lounge - I have my music in mp3 format and in works using a spare CF card. There is a way to reformat your m4a music in itunes into mp3.

You could try pulling the fuse and see if it resets it.
There's a hot fuse version of this trick, but it sounds a bit risky. How to Remove a Stuck CD

NO AND it was on a slight incline.
If I were the police officer at the scene, I would have issued tickets for failure to secure the vehicle.
Having automatic transmission does not mean you don't need to apply parking brake. Plus, having the parking brake on takes the stress off the tranny, prolonging its life.
