From the Scotsman http://sport.scotsman.com/rugby/Edinburgh-target-Dewey-for-return.4854302.jp Lets hope that he has learnt a 2nd trick during his time in Belfast! Although judging from the view of the Ulster fans the answer to this would be no!

If I was in the mood to be cynical, I would say it's not *our* shopping list... I don't disagree that we need to beef up our squad. But given that we tend to struggle in the forwards, I would have thought the pack would be the priority area for strengthening. But again, if I was feeling cynical, I would say there obviously aren't enough suitably experienced Scottish-qualified forwards available... _________________

It, of course is not always used as a noun, as in "I'd really NigelWilliams love to Christophe Berdos that DavidMcHugh Matt Williams." Just to stretch the debate!

Both Embra and the Weegies still have problems with depth in their squad. But personally I have no idea why Dewey and Danielli are on our shopping list.

I saw Roddy Grant playing for Glasgow in their back-up fixture V. Edinburgh in the autumn at Whitecraigs. He is very physical - perhaps too physical (Similar mould as Martin Leslie). He was lucky it was a 'friendly' or the ref may have sent him to the sidelines for 10 mins or more. Perhaps he'll spark our backrow into action with Ross & Matt injured & Scott on the bench.

I reckon we didn't win because the boys weren't wearing their Limited Edition shirts.

Voucher 8 was the warriors ticket number, suggest you contact ER or the ticket office so you can get a ticket for our match 8 (this Fri?) otherwise you won't get in.

Looking forward to going through to Glasgow for the next game, but I'm a bit confused about the arrangements for Embra season ticket holders. Can someone enlighten me - do we just turn up at the gate with our season tickets, or do we need to obtain a "standard" ticket beforehand? And, are we restricted to just one area of the ground?

We all know about Rennie being out for the rest of the season which is a real pity but I read this in the Times Edinburgh may pay a heavy price for this defeat. They had already suffered a serious blow before the game when they learnt that Ross Rennie, the international flanker, was out for the rest of the season after a second operation on the knee he first damaged in March, and during ...

The following statistic (taken from the club website) is one of the most encouraging I've seen for a long time... "After six homes matches during the 2008/2009 campaign, Edinburgh’s average home crowd is 6, 064; which is around 4,000 more than what it was at the same stage last season (2, 120)." I know, I know, they are not all paying customers by any means, but the club's stated ...
