While visiting my parents this Christmas, my dad showed me a cool device he got to help him walk on icy walkways- Yaktrax Walkers - Unisex at REI.com He LOVES them, they're fairly cheap, and they're easy to put on your shoes. If you have a lot of snow and ice where you live, you might pick up a pair and save yourself from a nasty fall.

Medicare Advantage plans are possibilities for some right now. However, they cost Medicare significantly more, in the many billions, and there is a move in Congress to eliminate these extra costs. The plans started as a Republican program. Who knows what will happen to folks who went that way if it stopped.

That nicotine addition must be real strong. I can't imagine why anyone would want to smell like that. I can understand why people can't quit my problem is how did anyone get past that stink and start.

OK, I thought I didn't have anything more to add, but I just read a little bit about vasomotor rhinitis. It really sounds possible this could be what is going on with me (except still no explanation for the fever part. That's just weird.). Vasomotor rhinitis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia My nose constant runs, especially when I exercise, step into the cold, or eat spicy foods, etc., etc. I keep the Kleenex company in business,...

A year ago I got insurance for $500/quarter, this year its now $600/quarter, a 20% increase!!! I'm still in my late forties, jeez, at rate I'll be paying $3000/quarter by the time I'm 60. Looking at ehealthinsurance.com the rates seem to be across the board. This is the 1st year I've paid my own, is this normal, can I expect 20% increases as business as usual?? TJ

I have been in Mail Handlers for 20 years....don't really have any real life comparison to judge. Hello Group, I plan to retire in 12 months. One of my biggest concerns is health care cost. I'm sure all of you know all about that problem. Without being to political, do you think the up coming government plans will be a knight in shinning armor for retirees and future retirees? I've tried to read the obama plans but realize we will have to wait and see if any of the promises become reality. ...

Does anyone know if somone with enough health issues that would normally preclude them from qualifying for private health insurance, have a better chance of qualifying if they were willing to get a plan with either a $5000 or $10000 decutible and a 20-30% copay? Basically truly catastrophic insurance coevrage. In other words, do your chances increase of being able to get incusrance if you are ...
