oh cool i guess im not the only one then, i usually get either gift cards or money for christmas (i established that when i was younger) that way after Christmas i spend it alll... my very wished intel i7 920 jumped from $200 to $288 but 288 still low price compared to other places...

a month or so ago the price of 2gb ddr2-800 ecc/reg ram was $38. now its hitting $60. its mkaes me SO GLAD the GTX300 video cards are coming AFTER the holidays tbh.

i ordered an intel sdd from amazon and Antonline on the 12th of this month . the item was in stock and ready to ship . they send me all this info about my item and how it is going to ship out on the 14th or 15th , sounds find with me . they send me an email today saying the item is not in stock and they have to cancel my order , WTF ? i was going to purchase one from a seller here at the forums but i thought , why wait for them to respond...

I work at Amazon. Although i do not see very many SSDs come through there, i know how this happens. This is usually caused by one idiot employee who ends up thinking they can be faster by doing things their way and scanning the wrong bin when storing stock. Your item is probably in stock but as vast as the warehouse is, we go too look for it and can't find it. It will eventually turn up but long after you have been disappointed. I would...

jeez $1700 :O.. And you'll need to add water cooling costs to that. I fail to see how the cards will stay cool being squished together like evga sardines.

Looking for anything in particular? nVidia/ATI? I'd always recommend a 4870 1GB, but that's just me. I've always had good experiences with ATI cards and have only owned one nVidia card ever - it was good too.
