Download HijackThis Executable from here. Save it to your desktop. Start HJT & press the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. When the scan is finished a window will pop up giving you the option of where to save it. Save it to desktop where it is easy to access. Open the log file and then go to the format Tab and make sure that wordwrap is unchecked. Copy the entire contents of the file & paste it...

ok well i wasnt there, but she did successfully finish adaware scan which resolved her "issues". I had her fix the hjt stuff that was wrong, found the hjt analyzer beta 2 and resolved the rest of them. If they have a recurring issue, i will be back out there and i will run the said program, but for now they are working and appear to be clean

Ok i'll do that. But no lol, I can not bring myself to use IE. I use firefox. I would uninstall IE but you can't do that and still have your internet work. But i really don't see where firefox could have helped in this situation. I chose to download, and i hit the "install" button. I don't know how firefox could have stopped that.

Empty vault should delete them but I would run Hijack This and post a log and Crunchie should pop by and have a look.He's the best I've seen for these things.

I was roaming around on bit torrent downloading various programs and all of the sudden i had a million pop up windows and i could not get this one stupid anti virus program to stop bothering me.
