Great read. I'm not ashamed to admit I became pretty disenfranchised with the team/sport after Bondra left and the lockout happened. Kudos to everyone who stuck around for the whole rebuilding process.

Jagr just because of how excited I was as an 11 year old boy when I saw the news on TV that the big exciting star from Pittsburgh is a Capital. He's the first athlete I ever felt disgust over.

I'm sorry Mr. Theodore. I was VERY much against his signing and thought I was proven right over the first two months of the season. However, over the past few weeks the Theodore of old, the Theodore of Montreal has shown up, and it is ****ing beautiful. Interview is almost over but it should up on the site later today. He's commenting how great the fan support has been the last couple of years, they even have a thousand or so show up to practices. Obviously he's glad the team is playing well but he thinks they still have to get better. Said they play well against top teams but need to do a better job of putting away teams further ...

I will be going to my first Caps game at the Verizon Center that night with stwasm and CHUBAKAH. I have been to a bunch of Caps games at the old Capital Center, so it has been a while since I have seen them live. Anyone here going that night also? Maybe we can all meet up for a beer during an intermission.

I personally believe Semin is a better scorer than ovechkin...not just because he leads the league this season, I have thought this the past year or 2 even when ovechkin was mvp last year. Semin just makes pin point accurate shots and moves that are out of ovechkins league...he just was just always hot and cold. Maybe with 1 more year experience and fedorov as a tutor he has found his game ...

****. Pure ****. Apparently a bunch of Canadians fans set up auto-voters to vote a thousand times a minute or so to get a forward, two D, and a goaltender all on the starting line. And then of course the ****ing penguins fill up the other two spots. **** the allstars.

Whats the best way to get there from the rockville area? Metro? I have to go pick up my tickets at will call and am sitting in the 410 section. Also, what time should I leave?..Not going to tailgate or hang around a while beore the game starts, but i'd like to get there like 15-20 minutes before it starts. | |
