In all honesty Tyrod really isn't that prone to mistakes. Other than that ugly pass against Cincy, most of his picks were off of tipped passes. The only pick sixes he has thrown were 1) caused because Justin harper tipped the ball into the air after not trying to catch it or knock it down, and 2) because Justin Harper slipped on his out route against Kansas. ladies!  ladies!  lets' stop this bickering. Here is a compromise I propose to ease the tension. Maybe we can add in how many touchdowns Taylor throws to the other team in iterceptions?  He throws like he got his arm as as a transplant.. because it kind of jutts out when he throws the ball.  Doesnt' look like he learned to throw that way.. maybe its' the doctors' faults.   Anyway, please consider the TD interception...

Let me first say that the play calling in the first half was pretty good. The Hokies drove the ball fairly well, but still had a ton of trouble in the red zone. However, when the Hokies took control of this game in the second half, Stinespring did what he did last year against KU... He took the ball out of the hands of Evans. Just give #32 the ball and VT wins by 20 or 27 points with the game ...

They need to adjust this yearly based on the overall performance of a conference. The Bearcats and Hokies are in no way worthy of playing in a BCS bowl game. The only people watching this game will VT & Cinncinati fans... horrible, just horrible. Just another reason why the BCS system DOES NOT WORK. Playoffs please.

Well, on your team's part anyway.  Just thought I'd come back and eat a little crow.  VT was well represented at the game.  I posted some grief here a few days before the game but there were plenty of VT fans everywhere I went the last few days. Good win.  I really have to say I was surprised.  It was never a game after UC's first drive.

Congratulations to VT on your Orange Bowl win. You did the ACC proud! It's time our conference got back on track.  Years ago, when UM and VT were suppose to be an asset to the ACC, our two schools were highly respected.  In good time, we shall all return. Meanwhile, congrats to Virginia Tech's OB win!

As a Cincinnati fan, I've seen numerous articles encouraging us to get our Orange Bowl tickets sooner rather than later because the Cincinnati tickets are selling out.  As of today, only about 4,000 of the 17,500 remain. I was wondering if anyone here has any information about the Hokies section of the stadium.  If we can fill that place with Bearcat and Hokie fans, it'd be a great college ...

I think the best part about this game for me was watching Macho finish off his VT career with a huge win. I think this guy is my favorite hokie of all-time, he's always been a classy competitor and person despite the adversity he's gone through. I'm really gonna miss him next year but I'll be following his NFL career.

The game was closer than it seemed. We looked a lot better today than any other game I have seen them play this season. The team will continue to improve and beat Duke in Cassel at the end of the season, and hopefully we improve enough to get to the big dance.
