By all accounts lately its a moot point anyways. In 3 more years when the BCS evaluations are done we're either going to replace the Big East / ACC for their automatic spot or we're going to have our own since the BCS rules state you can have up to 7 automatic qualifiers. Ya we're getting hosed this year in regards to the national title but we can at least thank this team, the 2004 team, Boise, and the others in between for...

OK UGA YOU GONNA PUT TCU IN YOUR MOUTH LIKE ITS A DIRTY WORD,WHERE ARE YOU GONNA FINISH AND WHERE IS TCU GONNA FINISH.MWC DESERVES A BCS BID HELL THE MWC IS BETTER THAN THE BIG EAST AND JUST AS GOOD AS THE ACC Nice hat. And no,they (MWC) does not. ARKY, USC (Proper), Vandy and Kentucky all won just as many games against an SEC opponent as all MWC teams combined. TCU played joke schedule as well.

No i was talking about Florida, being an LSU fan I hate to say it but there good. Utah played 6 teams w losing records and played many close games. On the other hand Florida played only 2 teams w losing records, and dominated every team they beat, all double digit wins. most of their wins were by at least 30pts. the only one they lost was when FL scored the game tying touchdown in the final minute vs Ole Miss, and they blocked the extra pt....

I'm not particularly impressed with Utah's win over Alabama. In all likelihood, Boise State or Ball State could have beaten Alabama too. The way Ababama played that night, a lot of teams could have beaten them so it really doesn't prove that Utah is better than Boise State or Ball State. Definitely. Ball State could totally destroy teams like Alabama and Buffalo.

Ummm. Congrats? You get your shot on Thursday. If you win (Huge if), you will take the hardware and I believe there will not be a split. Having TT and Okie State go down in flames and Texas uninspiring victory versus tOSU hasn't helped Oklahoma's respect factor. I think we would welcome the Sooners into the MWC with open arms. I think the whole debate is ridiculous. The only undefeated team in the country should be No. 1. They beat teams that beat other Top 5 teams. They did everything that was asked of them. As a Mizzou fan, I watched as we got shafted last year when they sent Kansas to a BCS bowl instead of us, and I am ready for this nonsense to stop. I can't believe the BCS gets away with what it does.

Florida fan here, new to the message board. First off to congratulate Ute nation. Definitely one of the top performances of the bowl season.
