anyone else tired of Tomlin's favorite speech after a terrible loss when giving up a 4th quarter lead?  Geez it just irks me.  At least he seemed angry, TAKE THE SHADES OFF be a motivator get these guys going.  Why is the running game existent when Ben is out?  Why is pass protection better when Ben is out? Time to put these things together and that is on the coaches.  There is a lot of blame to go around and zero of it lays on the...

Tomlin's Press Conference...

This roster doesn't have much upturn from this year compared to last year. So any argument of "This is what Tomlin can do with his team" doesn't have any merit.

Where were the screens, where was the misdirection?  They seemed content to run it twice, then ask Dixon to stand in the pocket on 3rd down and make a pass.

To think this team with this talent and schedule are 6-5 and barely a pulse is unreal. What a fing choke job. I knew the season was over when we lost to Cincy at home. A champion doesnt lose that game, no way no how. We gave up our crown at Heinz that November afternoon. teams got no heart this year. Really dissapointing. B.A. should be gone next year he is god awful.

Where are the Steelers fans?

It is pretty obvious that some of those people, after seeing Ben throw an interception or maybe miss an open receiver, that they get a bolner and can't wait to hop on their computer and tell us all about it.

I just don't see this defense stopping an offense like GBs at this point.  They are making nice splash plays throughout the game, but they've consistently faded late in games with the lead.  I seriously hope they prove me wrong though.    Ive been very critical of the defense, but TP does make a difference. They should still be able to get a late game stop without him though. But getting him back will do wonders to improve the...

No the Steelers should COACH Ben to have the UNDERSTANDING that Drew Brees has. I got ripped for saying Brees is better than Ben. All i heard was "Brees hasnt won anything Ben has 2 SBs". By that criteria Ben is better than Marino. There is no doubt Brees is better than Ben. Any opposers are just Homers.

Hey moron, I thought anyone could be Pitts QB and win?  Unfortunately not.  I only hope Ben is ready to go the rest of the season.  He carries this team along with Troy when they're healthy.  This loss is on the D for giving up 3rd and 23 and then not getting off the field on 4th and 5!    couldnt agree more, the D needs to get it together.  Polamalu out cant be the only problem.  Drafting next ...

Pittsburgh Steelers are 148 games over .500 winning pct since 1972 season.. including the playoffs....6 SB wins and 7 appearances...every year its a given they win their inept division and every year they are expected to make the playoffs....never any whisper of a coaching change....3 since 69'...Noll, Cowher and Tomlin.....they appear like a pretty secure successful football franchise although ...

There is no question that if this team executes and doesn't make mistakes, we're the best team in the league, but as of right now I'm not a 100% confident those things will end.

I see the Steelers making the playoffs, but not getting to the Super Bowl Amazing you can have a top rated defense that can't close out games and a top six offense that can't score in the redzone. I see the offseason being interesting and many changes. Townsend,Kirschke,Farrior,Carter,Parker,Reed,Batch all will be gone. The Steelers will beef the draft with DL & CB/S Special team coach ...

Moore will NEVER be anything more than a 3rd down back under normal circumstances. He is an awesome 3rd down back. Why can't people settle for that?

That 3rd and 5 said it all -again for me. So many options and takes the one that fails the greatest. A draw, a screen would have worked. And if it didn't get the first down you put the Ravens deep in their territory. He's got to go. Bunced sets with no running back to help block means no mystery as to what the Steelers will do.

I think this play was lost when we allowed a 17 yard pass completion on 3rd and 22. It still does not excuse Rey Rice going all the way to the 10 yard line on that play. Did anyone notice how both safeties - Tyrone Carter and Ryan Clark missed tackling Rey Rice and Deshea Townsend did not even make an attempt to tackle Rey. Not only are the safeties bad tacklers, they are bad cover guys. I ...

Not saying Ben has no guts. I think he has plenty. But he is soft at times. Not Tammy Maddox soft but he has his moments. Like on qb sneaks OMG you talk about NOT WANTING to stick his head in the pile. Ben doesnt do qb sneaks well. A qb gets hit less than anyone on the field (head to head). Ben has got to play. You should have seen the way the guys were treating him especially HEATH and Batch. I ...

today made me more anti-Arians than anti-Ben.  It also reminded me why I was angry at LeBeau during the Bears and Bengals games earlier this year. Ben was playing flawless for a good chunk of the game, yet the score was like 17-14 at that point.  That should not be happening against the Chiefs.

I agree. Heath is THE man. I've followed him from college and to the Steelers and the man simply does not drop passes.  Not sure if it was just a lack of concentration on the play or because he had 2 defenders nearby.  Heath is a complete TE and bashing him is just ridiculous.

This is an excellent post first off.  The one area I'll disagree with is Timmons.  Maybe he isn't spectacular against the run, and maybe he had a really off night, but the whole defense was bad against the run.  Our dline was getting no push and I saw Farrior miss tackles as well.  Timmons is still a game changer and his pass rush and coverage as a LB can't be replicated by any other ILB we have...

B.A. needs to go at seasons end. I guess its going to take a complete colapse and a missed playoff birth for this to happen. How many times will Ben throw on the road in Bmore? 45? Im sure that will end up with a solid 3 TOS. BS calls lead to BS losses and this team is way to talented to be losin to the KCs of the world. GARBAGE
