Ok, I really didn't want to make a new thread, but seeing as how most of the board is now filled with stupid threads that are nothing more than name calling between 2 people...I did. Nothing has happened yet because the FO is waiting to resolve the Stoudemire situation. The soonest that can occur is tomorrow, 7/8. The fact that the FO has been silent up until this point speaks volumes.

Looks like the rumor is Boozer for Rip. Seems like we could make a play for Boozer if we offered J-Rich since J-rich is younger and roughly the same player as Rip, but plays bigger than Rip. they add 2 valuable FA (Jefferson, McDyess) and they can easily turn this thing around. I still don't see them beating Lakers, however if Duncan and Ginobili can stay healthy, with unpredictable Parker and a genius GM/coach Popovich - anything is possible.
