He would be a nice utility guy. I just thought I heard bad rumors about him though. I could have sworn he was a bad teammate and argued with coaches, but I could be wrong.

Proof, please. Arent you done with me in this thread? Now you're being a hypocrite. Also why do I need proof of something that is inevitable? I mean did you see the Mitchell Report or the private survey that caught A-Rod and another 103 players. Does it really take a rocket scientist to realize that the majority of the league was juicing. I mean I bet you think Barry Bonds did steroids. Show me what proof do you have of him...

I like the pickup with Wise. If I'm not mistaken he's the guy who saved Buerhle's hide in his perfect game? I don't see him beating out Francisco and I still think we'll sign more of a power pinch hitter to replace Stairs, but if we need someone who's major league caliber to fill in he's there. Valdez I don't really understand. He's junk. They're both minor league deals. We lost our...

Just saw on ESPN, Moyer had another surgery to "wash out some possible infection in the blood". They say his spring training participation may be limited due to all of this.

from jelly roll lately? seams he should predict himself , not to have any predictions next season. nothing worse than a UNDESERVING MVP running his bigmouth and the rest of the team has to try and live up to his predictions! LOL 2007 Phillies win NL East - Prediction correct 2008 Phillies win 100 games - Prediction correct 2009 Phililes win in 5 maybe 6 - Predicion incorrect 2 out of 3 ain't bad when you win a WS and win 2 pennants. ...

He would be a nice utility guy. I just thought I heard bad rumors about him though. I could have sworn he was a bad teammate and argued with coaches, but I could be wrong. Actually he is a great presence in the clubhouse,he has a good sense of humor and the other players like him. What you may have heard about is the shooting rumors about 3 years ago,it happened in his home country,he was never charged with a...

I would love Cabrera. He hasnt played 3rd since early 2008, but his bat would certainly make up for it. I just dont see it happening, Could you imagine a lineup like this: Rollins Utley Cabrera Howard Werth Ibanez Victorino Ruiz Good luck bringing in a situational lefty for that lineup.

Not a whole lot of information right now, but I'm sure he'll be alright. Dude waited a long time to get his shot and is still pitching at an age when other guys would be 6,7,8 years retired. He's a fighter. I agree that Moyer is a Fighter, but even Ricky Henderson's...

I wouldnt doubt it. The guy was under 200 lbs and threw 97 mph. That isnt supposed to happen for as long as he pitched.

And the Red Sox may be willing to eat half of his salary. I think he is a major upgrade over Feliz and it would be pretty much even money. Now he hasnt played a full season since his last contract year, but he will be in a contract year this year. But even if he played 120 games that would give Dobbs some needed PA's and experience. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/11/red-sox-shop ping-mike...

Not a bad idea about getting at least two infielders. Not to jinx it, but Ryan Howard is due for an injury... Rollins and Utley aren't getting any younger. Our depth is pathetic and a few injuries could sink this team quickly.
