Yea man...Al needs to realize that the Vertical pass just isnt going to happen with this team  if anything, its a din_k and dunk team with Grads but he gave us a spark....      d ink and dunk worked pretty good when Gannon was here.    The only difference was Gannon had better coaches and 2 HOF Wideouts at his disposal!     Not to mention a running back with outstanding open field ability.  McFadden?

Grad appears like he actually wants to prove himself every play, too. He knows being the back-up on the 3-7 Raiders won't easily translate him into an elite. JaMarc gives me the impression that he already views himself as a star and has no need to care about a team widely regarded as a joke.

and darrell russell was a probowler    Darrell Russell was a pro bowler both 1998 and 1999. Also was 1st team All Pro in 1998 and 2nd team in 1999. If you guys remember in he early Gruden years, the Raiders was good against the run and Russell was a stud on DT! If it wasn't for his demons and off the field issues, he would of been the anchor of the D-line for years, instead of out of football by 2003 at 27 years old and dead 2 years...
