If Carlton Fisk and his zero rings and .797 OPS can be in the Hall of Fame, I don't see why Posada and his five rings and .859 OPS can't be. Fisk was a better catcher, but not by a substantial amount. You know something thinking it through I can see all 4(DJ, Mo, Jorge and Andy) making it to the hall. DJ and Mo are locks. But if they can add another WS (Or more) to their resumes, Jorge and Andy will make it to the HOF,...

Published (2009-11-06 00:22:00)
I am officially announcing my retirement from the ESPN message boards. Going into this season, I knew it would be my last year. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to cause any distractions from our beloved yankees. It's been one heck of a ride. I couldn't think of a better way to go out - with the yankees as champions! As for my reasons.. well I just felt like it was time. My kids are getting older and they need...

writes about Josh Beckett. people wonder why other people harp on ESPN. Oh and he also had some time to blog about Jeremy Hermidia too. Guy hasnt written boo about the WS since game 1. Shocker there.

At least he announced himself as a troll. That being said, even if he is a diehard, Braves fans in general are known to be fickle fans.

Why don't we bring in a bunch of Al Qaeda terrorists to be in the coaching staff also? Are two of the most hated guys for our franchise the only two people you could think of as candidates for our pitching staff?

AJ is no prize. No. All those great postseason starts (One aside) were bulls--t. Pettitte is no magician. So winning the WS clinching game, on three days rest, wasn't magical in any way? CC is no Jack LaLane. Yet he was able to go on three days rest, whenever needed in the PS, and cames up big almost every time. Hughes should go back to starting. Agreed. Joba is must...

A macbook pro cost about 1500, the lower end macbooks are 1000, it's really not that much. If you want to buy a crappy PC that's fine. But realize that when you buy a computer for 500 bucks and then it crashes in 2 years because it's loaded with viruses *which by the way macs don't get* you can go out and drop another 500 bucks and deal with the frusteration that's being a PC user. From someone ...

For a DH whom wasnt at 100 percent. 28 homeruns. 278 avg, and 90 rbi.... again the guy wasnt heathy. what more do u want from a DH.. ???? i understand hes 35 but he says his man concern is to get healhy... during the offseason I think it's not about what he can do at the DH spot, but rather about how they can use the DH spot to rest Posada, Damon, etc. at times. So having Matsui as the full...

Crawford's a dynamite player, but projecting him in the 2011 OF is counting your chickens waaay too early.

you mean in game 4 when gordon pitched 2 scoreless innings and rivera blew the lead? rivera threw 40 pitches in game 4 followed by another 26 in game 5. i really don't think joe wanted to test out mo's arm like that. why are you even thinking about 2004, anyway? it's 5 years ago.

Great flick. If it doesn't make you laugh you're in the minority. Obviously it was produced by Happy Madison, but like Happy Gilmore, it is one of those movies you can watch 20 times in your life without it ever getting old. Of course nothing approaches Dazed and Confused, watched it a 100 times; still splendiferous.
