TRAIL BLAZERS EYEING CURRY by Marc Berman Last updated: 7:30 am January 6, 2009 Posted: 2:27 am January 6, 2009 OKLAHOMA CITY - One team that may go after Eddy Curry , now that the Knick center appears ready to resume playing, is the Blazers. Portland president Kevin Pritchard, who's been after David Lee for years, quietly scouted a Knick preseason game. "They'll do anything for a big man," a league source said...

Pretty good fall back, I read a book a few years called Gideons Angels, it was the history of Mossad. If you like Israeli history it's a must read. It starts with the day Mossad was formed up to the present. A history book of sorts. Great read.

those are all good players. how many were lottery picks? I am not sure of where each one was picked. That's not really important. My main point is that i would like for the knicks to obtain more foreign players because they seem more fundamentally sound when it comes to bball skills and how the game should be played as a team. 2 or 3 ( 2 are fine) are fine.. But the team needs a better balance of defensive and offensive...

I wouldn't do this trade now, but it could be something to revisit on draft day. Right now Stephan Jax is injured and Ellis is still a bit aways from coming back so the Warriors might not be willing to lose their depth at the G position. And for the Knicks, it makes us even smaller and with Tim Thomas still ailing, it would put the Knicks at a huge disadvantage for the remainder of the season. But I do like the players the Knicks...

Good reasoning Doc. I am just not sure I am convinced because we are giving up the two most productive pieces. Maybe it is a matter of playing time or system. The GS players are younger also I think? Easy enough to look up but I am too lazy. I could probably be convinced that it is an ok trade. Yeah, those FAQ's were really helpful when I was trying to figure that stuff out. I bookmarked it for myself. Ariels is my first...

If it aint broke....then dont fix it Marbury had problems playing 40 or more mpg in the Princeton-Offense (Fast Transition B-Ball) while on the Nets and the Suns. A renew mountain climbing Marbury committed himself in the Knicks Preseason games to perform and teach his young teammates how to position themselves in the "Princeton-Offense" while accepting to be a 24 mpg bench player. Marbury & Zach combination...

I've watch a couple of his games, and the the best NBA comparision I can give him is being the next Jamal Crawford . PG???? I don't see his future as a PG, but more as a SG. How can this writer assume that (he's the next great NBA PG) being he doesn't even play PG at Kansas lol. We all know Collins runs that team and make everything flow for them. I saw he should at least wait another year for Collins to leave and then...

My opinion is a little different. I think if you can get drafted into the NBA with a system like the Knicks have, cast into a situation where the team could add a Lebron and others. That would be an opportunity of a lifetime. Also, by not having to go to school, if you are industrious, you can work your game to a much higher level with all of the tools and time an NBA career affords you. Money wise, it's also one year quicker...

Its not a dump as I think we get three functional players out of it. It also depletes our front line, but if we add Turiaf and Curry plays, they would complement each other nicely as Turiaf is ...

Mike D'Antoni is a good coach. therefore, we don't have to go after every superstars to win games.my suggestions are: the knicks should go after 2 good three point shooters(kapono, scalabrini, rasual butler etc.), and a decent shot blocking bigman(steven hunter, francisco elson), and the knicks will be fine.i know there are some cheap good 3 point shooters, and decent shot blocking big men out ...

Washington is the only team I can see us finishing ahead of, and maybe Indiana. We are 2 games ahead of charlotte/indiana for 2nd to last place in the East. Playoffs arent happening. We all know the reasons: lack of depth, interior defense, no SG, no real leader, no defense 80% of the time, bad losses to other bad teams And tanking and finishing with a bottom 6 overall record is much ...

Did anyone watch the game against Duke tonight? Van Gundy, Mark Jackson, and Tirico were doing the play-by-by and Mark Jackson said this, " Stephen Curry can be a starting PG in the NBA right now." This is coming from a PG who has the 2nd most assists in the history of the game. Van Gundy didn't go that far, but said that he could a NBA PG for the right team. He said he'd like to see how he ...

Curry for Nazr Bell Sean May is injury prone worse than Curry LOL. Curry in backup role at center surrounded by Diaw Wallace Okafor(all shotblockers who can protect him in the paint) makes the most sense. Bell in D'Antoni system is better starter than Q-Rich.But Curry add a dimension to Bobcats without them loosing real players they use in their rotation. Augistin Felton Wallace Diaw Okafor ...

So, It seems Donnie Walsh is in no rush to file the application or to cut Marbury. So we have no open roster spots. Walsh feels any player signed would not make the rotation and we have enough players to hold practice and scrimmages. He will still look for ways to improve the team but he will take his time. http://www.nypost.com/seven/01072009/sports/knicks /cuttinos_taking_up_roster_slot_...

Why do people constantly post things about guys like Marbury and Curry saying things like this guy is a moron a loser or fat on a daily almost hourly basis. I get the feeling that I might be the only one who doesn't do it. I can understand anything in moderation, but was wondering why people do it. From a psychological perspective, you could say they gain pleasure from this or a feeling of ...

since starting the season with a new coach and attitude. We got off with a nice bang. But now reality has set in. Or has it ? The trade has not helped. Not yet anyway (for the 2010 clones) The Knicks got off to a 6-3 start .................. since then have gone 6-16 ...................... since the trade have gone 6-14 ................... Several sources with knowledge of the situation have told TKB that thePortland Trailblazers are getting serious about trading for David Lee.Blazers ownership thinks Lee is the perfect 6th man, who will be 26 in April and can be part of their long term plans. As we know Lee has leverage because he doesn't have to sign with a team he is traded to, but playing in Portland with their young core ...

If D' Antoni doesn't make this team a a top playoff team by 2011 do we release him. Think about it, the guy is tanking this season right now so he's record going to be horrible. The same things will probably happen next year. So does that mean he's on the hot seat to get this team far when 2011 reaches. Sort of what Magini was under with the Jets, good free agent supposly signing with the team...

Eric Gordon Bayless Lopez Combo guard bad? Point is combo guard can rotate like.......... Calamari who is too slow to be small forward and too weak to weak to play power forward a rotating guard saves having two players; backup point and shooting guard. Instead, team can get a perimeter shooter specialist. bayless and gordon fit as rotational guard.
