Go after Jagodzinski?
Published (2009-01-08 16:28:00)
Should we? as an FSU fan, I've been getting frustrated with how good he made BC's defense. And as a Saints fan, I've been getting frustrated with EVERYTHING.    I wouldn't hire Jagodzinski to coach my high school team.   I think BC should be applauded for firing him.  I feel aweful for his players, because he sold them out to go interview for a job that he was never going to get knowing that he was leaving his...

DT Brian Young???

agreed. get rid of him. but instead of going after another DT, go after a DE instead and switch ol' crispy creme grant to DT. Would be great alongside Ellis and would provide depth at DE in a pinch. We've got him for at least a couple of more years anyway b/c of guaranteed money. Lets try him at DT alongside Smith and move Mcray in starters position and bring in another good DE for rotation. Any thoughts?? Nice concept.     I...

I think it's best we make Thomas the featured back and use Reggie in a Leon Washington or Darren Sproles role. Unfortunately, there seems to be this unwritten rule that a player who makes a certain amount of money has to be used a certain way.

http://blog.nola.com/saintsbeat/2009/01/exjaguars_coordinator_first_in.html Gregg Williams has already come in town to interview for the Defensive Cooridinator opening.   Nice little blog from Mike Triplett about Williams, other possible candidates, and other big names that are likely not to land here.  Don'T look for the Saints to land Gregg Williams. Benson is to cheap to pay a coordinator 3 Mill a year which would be the...

Just what the doctor ordered. Now let wish for a defensive coordinator who can create a defensive gameplan us Saints fans can be proud of. We need more sacks and more pressure from the front seven.

I have a question for Saints fans since you get to watch this team more than I do.  What is the REAL problem with R. Bush?  Why isn't he playing up to his potential? This guy was probably my favorite college player on my favorite college team of all time and I don't get it, I though this guy would be tearing it up by know.  This guy was more dominant than Adrian Peterson who is running all over ...

As a redskins fan and a somewhat saints fan all i have to say is i really hope you guys get him. If you guys do get him and if taylor mays is there for you at pick 14 you can  pretty much guarantee getting that guy. G Williams is a aggressive D-Cord and taylor mays would fit his ways perfect just like when he got sean taylor and laron landry. Plus if you guys get G williams it makes me wonder if ...

I can't believe it but we need draft picks and we can't rely on RB to stay healty.  He is a great player when he is on the field and he puts butts in the seats but the Saints need to move on before DB gets traded or retires.  The Saints DB window will not be open forever.  The Saints org. needs to make some tough decisions so we can contend for the NFC South and the SB.  What would we get for RB ...

What does everything think the Saints should do with Brian Young.  I've got to say, this guy is a good athlete when healthy, but he was hurt most of the season.  I think we need to find a replacement for him b/c he starting to age and is not worth the chunk of change.  Also, it would free up about $2,800,000 on the salary cap.

As a Panthers fan when I saw that NO went out and got Vilma i was thinking that there D would be highly improved especially after drafting Ellis I am a big USC fan as well and im thinking it would be a great idea for the Saints to trade up to get this guy, carolina got Beason and he has drastically impacted the D as both a player and leader I am sure that Rey would do the same for your team. ...

We need to get DE Peppers no matter how much it cost and trade Grant for a draft pick and get a good OLB in the first round. An keep MLB Vlma.  Who agree with that?

1. Drew Brees- obviously 2. Bobby Hebert - da Cajun Cannon, because he led the Saints to the promised land- the playoffs for the first time.  He was also a pro bowler. 3.  Archie Manning- he was one of the best ever on a team that was one of the worst.  Edged out by Bobby because Bobby was a winner.   4. Jim Everett- remember how this guy suddenly made the Saints good? 5.  Aaron Brooks - ...
