I think it has more to do with the reports that several teams are intereted in Josh McDaniels. Some teams (like the Jests for example) would hope to hire McDaniels and sign Cassel to be his QB. With Cassel off the market, McDaniels is a little less interesting. good point. Also, of course we keep Cassel away from the Jets, forcing them into a more costly desparation move to get their next QB. We boost cassel's value...

Wow!!! I knew somewhere in that fanbase were rational fans!! Thanks fellas, means alot! We hate your team as well but we all know that both Manning and Brady are future HOFers. What these trolls don't understand is that even though their teams defeated the Pats, they didn't beat them with their General leading them. So what pride can come from that? Don't you want to say that your team beat us at full strength? I...

Personally, I think McDaniels is ready. Sure, he didnt win the battle in the Superbowl, and got a little outschemed by Spagnola, but that front line and pressure were just immense. Good news there is Im sure he learned a valuable, however costly, lesson. Denver has a young team. JM is young. He's great with QBs. Look how he worked with our kid Cassel this year. Imagine what he could do with the raw skills of Cutler. And imo, Cutler is...

i think before he went to Dallas the Pats showed a little interest but im not positive on that. Id take him if he came cheap and behaved. If he acts up the pats would just cut him.

Well, Favre has won without cheating. Brady has shown that he cannot. That might be a good reason to go with Favre.

Well said Braniac. I am hopeful that O'Connell is going to be a good quarterback for the Pats but until he gets the chance to play, no one will ever know and there is no way anyone can logically say that he is ahead of Cassel right now. Yes, he had tough games against the Steelers, Colts and the Chargers. So what....I still remember the 4-interception game against the Broncos in 2000-2001 that Brady had. Anyone...

LT to Pats. How realistic
Published (2009-01-08 19:19:00)
I like what I see from LaMont Jordan and Sammy Morris. To me, running back is the least of our concerns. And I definitely wouldn't want that crybaby here. Agreed. McDaniels just wouldn't use the backs. Even Green-Ellis impressed. Pats need a good draft to bolster the defense/secondary mostly, a TE of some kind, some O Line depth and a FA WR to go opposite Moss.

Hi guys: Considering that Patriot Nation just got f*uckedbecause we could not finish off the Colts, Steelers, Dolphins, theJets, Colts, and Chargers this year of which 4 of the teams that lostto are still playing, the time is now to start talking about what thePats are going to do to make sure that Cassel is still on this team andin case Brady is not ready for the season-opener. First off ...

Jason Whitlock muses on many things NFL in his latest column, in which he starts out by literally slicing Peyton Manning to shreds for his growing ineptness in post-season play. But further into the column, Whitlock suggests that LT will never start another game for the Chargers and that he'd be a ' wonderful addition to the Patriots .' Now I'm not sure whether this is Whitlock's try at ironic ...

Dear Patriots fans, It's a shame that you have to take to picking on other teams because your team did not make the playoffs this year. Sure, the Colts are one and done again, but they made the playoffs this season. Where are the Patriots? OH yeah, sitting at home. Before you say I have no room to talk, I've accepted that Seattle is not in the post season so nothing you have to dish out to ...

It seems like Brett Favre is done with the Jets and the Jets are done with Favre. Now is the perfect time to bring him on board with the Pats and have him start buying into the system and eating humble crow pie so he can get his Super Bowl Lombardi Trophy Ring like Randy and Junior did. How do you like this depth charge? 1) Old Number 12 Tom Brady - After a whole season to rest up and ...

http://www.vsngaming.com/2009/01/madden-cover-coin cidence-or-curse/ Do you believe in the Madden Curse? There is decent supporting evidencefrom each version. Favre & the Jets choke to miss out on theplayoffs, Mangini gets fired, he leads the league in interceptions. Does it exist? If your favorite team's star player was going to be onthe cover, would you care about it at all? Or is it just a...

How good is Josh McDaniels and would you guys endorse this guy as a head coach based on what he means to your team? Or is he another Mangini/Weis/Crennel type of coach?

When a player is listed as being like an 8 or 9 time Pro Bowl selection or whatever does that count the number of times they were selected because the first one or two or even three selections ahead of them had injuries or didn't want to go for some reason? Because if a player is selected and then doesn't go I am pretty sure it still counts as a Pro Bowl selection and if that is the case you ...

SIX! Yes, that's now SIX, I repeat 6, or if you didnt hear the first, 2nd or third time that I said it, SIX career post seasons without tasting a victory for the great MVP. How are you that great, winning that many games in the regular season, and O'FER in the playoffs 6 friggin' times?? How does that happen? Brady's never done it. Anyone care to theorize???

Who will get the majority of the carries next year? Maroney showed promise a few times since he was drafted but has since struggled and been hampered with injuries. What will BB do with the running back situation?

You guys are done. U couldn't make playoffs w/ 11-5 record and next year will be worse for your team. Brady/Cassell controversy. Defense one year older. The 2008 year was the beginning of the end for you guys. Enjoy the memories!!! Go PHINS!!!!

I really don't see Pioli taking McDaniels with him where he goes I think theres a code between him and BB that he won't take away any of BB's assistants. That being said Pioni is gone no doub look at what his assistant did when he took the job in Atlanta this year. Made a great draft pick in Ryan when half the city of Atlanta was screaming Dorsey and lead a team that could go to the 2nd round ...
