Why not! They'd have to run as a 3rd party, and they would probably get a couple votes. There are many people that don't like either major party... are you under 13?

but who buys the best players. Best players are no longer the most skilled players, but the most bandwagoned by the MLB and the umps. you dont get tired of this? again? If it's not Bonds it's the Yankee payroll... Oh my, man give it up. You have a team that gave one of the worst contracts in history. So you have no place to talk.

Arod is the greatest hitter of our generation (late 90+00s) all time? prolly top 10 when his career is over. lets see there's babe, gehrig, teddy, willie, joe d, cobb, rickey , aaron, and griffey . yup arod can take the last spot. WHAT?!?!?!?!?! rickey henderson (3,000 hits, 300 hrs, 1400 sbs, 2200 walks, 2300 runs) ken griffey jr. (630 hrs, 1800 rbi, nearly 2800 hits and counting)

comparing OPS+ and stats like that to players back then to decide who are the best players of all time is stupid. its like comparing tim tebows college stats to peyton mannings NFL stats to determine who is better. Not even close. OPS+ is adjusted based on numbers each year throughout the divisions, ballparks, players etc. That's a terrible analogy. i wasnt directly attacking OPS+, what i meant was like BA, OBP, SLG, OPS, and...

Medicare fraud in the billions no big deal! Etc etc etc Yes lets have Government health care ~ I think its time for some kind of regulation of the government by the publi c. The big problem there is the country ceases to exist as it goes completely bankrupt and evolves into Botswana under Democratic Mugabenomics. I guess you missed Obama's speech today. The economy is officially thriving and we've had more growth last quarter than any quarter in the past 2 years. Oops ...

Why doesn't Arod fit into the category of ML Free Agents? He was originally picked up in the trade with Texas when the Yankees were willing to pick up most of his contract, but he signed as a FA following the 2007 World Series. Arod definately fits into the "bought" category. If youre going to say Ortiz is. (who was a released player and picked up for next to nothing.) Then its only fair to include Arod...

I personally think the steroid era has been over since 04-05, and that the HOF would mean nothing if Clemens, Bonds and ARod among others aren't inducted. Ain't that the truth. It's already crazy to exclude McGwire, and I presume Sosa and Palmeiro will also be excluded for the same rationale. If they also exclude Bonds, Clemens, Arod, and Manny, the HOF might reach the point where the HOF team...
