I do like the front court rotations when Gasol is there. I just wish Odom's offense would come around Odom will never be that consistent - that is why he belongs on the bench - he is the best sixth man in the NBA, but he not consistent enough to be a starter for me

whats up elf? as of right now i would put lebron at 6 behind 1Kobe 2Nash 3Melo 4Johnson 5Howard Is that a joke? Dwight is playing at like 80% of the level he was at last year well his team has more wins and he is the leader. for the past few years they have picked the best player on the best team when did this happen? LeBron won last year, best record but Lakers best team. I'll give you that one but the year before...

Starting the season off on a winning note and being able to build confidence is something to be noted. It is not unlike SA in the sense they start off usually home heavy (not quite to the extent) as the rodeo comes into town later on. It is true that the Lakers have actually 43 home games to 39 away. Playing the clips on the same court, where the crowd is 80 percent Laker is a joke. LA can't afford two stadiums?? 17-4 home...

Well given the fact that LeBron played with two All-stars last year and couldn't get it done...I have no reason to believe he would have done so. Now, LeBron has 3-allstars, so lets see if he can get it done. Kobe was able to win that championship with one All-star, so I ask again, how many all-stars is LeBron gonna need before he proves he is a "winner"? LeBron had 1 kind of all star last year and I don't ...

..... I'm still wondering why the Lakers didn't call... They probably did a quick look on this board and saw that Rodrick was endorsing the idea. LOL!!! I can just picture Mitch logging on in the morning checking the board for Rodrick's posts, crossing off names on his 'to call' list based on Rodrick's posts.

Walton is a solid player, especially when you have him and his playmaking abilitites on the court with some of the starters. He's never going to be a superstar, but he's a solid role player in the triangle. I don't know why he constantly gets trashed. Nobody has a player as talented as Walton as their 8th man. Not true. Walton and Talent don't go in the same sentence. There are plenty that are better at the 8th spot....

who cares about his field goal %? a person who always takes bail out shots or tries to bail his team out is always gonna have low field goal %.......Atleast he tries to make impossible look possible, unlike Lebron or any other star who care about his field goal % so they pass the last second shots so it wont hurt their numbers there are plenty of m0rons on this board that bash Bryant because of his FG % airmen comes to mind where the ****...

If we had the 2006 Kobe, he'd be jacking up too many shots and Gasol, Bynum, Odom, and Artest would be whining about not getting enough touches. I like the 2009 Kobe much better than the 2006 Kobe. Much better for team ball.

Didn't Artest leave college early like after his sophomore year? Probably the highest level of math he got to was Calculus II or Calculus III. That stuff is not very hard.

I think you're out of your mind. Health care should be free here, just as it is in most civilized nations. The current system is absurdly expensive and growing more expensive by the day. To hell with the insurance executives...and their rank and file workers can go work for the government. Doctors, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies all need their out of control pricing regulated by ...

Team management will realize that we dont need Luke b/c we have better players to actually get minutes... even Gaffney is a solid energetic player who plays with heart and passion, better then Luke. I look for Lakers to trade Luke for a future 2nd round pick.

I had a feeling that's exactly what happened. I still thought we could have had both of them. Especially since we traded for Ariza and owned his bird rights. we should have been able to re-sign Ariza (like we did odom) and signed Artest with the veteren minimum.

We have to come up with a nickname for Shannon. Shannon takes the ball to whole like Wade.......of course that block would've been called a foul if it were Wade. No, it's not the same as Wade, because Brown doesn't fall down after every layup attempt.

There's a reason he still remains unsigned. Yes, he will eventually end up somewhere, but the fact that the GMs of the teams you mentioned aren't tripping over one another trying to sign him first speaks volumes.

It doesn't matter how bad a player is or how bad you think a player is, you still want your team to be as healthy as possible. Healthy players helps the games to be played smoother and more consistently. A healthy player is worth more when trades become possible. Having a healthy team is simply the best thing possible. If you are an intelligent fan, you recognize that and you do not go around ...
