Dodgers blew it staff ace

What's with the short term memory ooooooooooooooook. This was well before the line drive off the head. Kuroda pitched opening day and disappeared for the next month, only to come back and be on again off again the DL and was a shell of his former self. He never really got in a groove. I think he hit the preverbial wall and is pretty much done. Now, that is just my opinion, but unless the guy commits himself to being in great...

Dodgers moves

Really? What has everyone else peeked at? Stop and ask yourself, did you watch the Dodgers this season, and if you say yes, then you would and could answer your own question. Martin = regressed Loney = barely hit 10 homers and is a .270 hitter Manny = off the juice and now an average slugger and below average fielder Pierre = not going to get the playing time in LA Bills = big time regression Furcal = probably off the juice but was...

Why would we create a problem in center to fix a problem at second? Then fix the center field problem the next year by trading our second baseman? By the way, Kemp is already VERY cheap for how good he was last year and he is getting better by leaps and bounds. I know it's early but... Nomination for Dumbest Post of the Year. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ You know...I second that nomination....

The Gasol trade resulted in the Lakers making the NBA Finals (and losing) and then winning the following year. The Lee trade allowed the Phillies to go back to the World Series (where they lost), so we'll have to see what happens in 2010 to be able to rightfully compare.

No, weak is not making a habit of checking past posts, so you don't have six threads on the same subject running on the board all the time. It only takes a few seconds to scan the thread titles. But I guess a guy like you is too busy for that. you got it, chief..I'm too busy for that....I guess I'll have to turn in my forum card..

So Werth gets snubbed for a SS, kind of makes up for Andre getting snubbed for the ASG...but not quite.

I got the email from dodgers.com saying that. I am still trying to find the story on ESPN. Kemp with the gold glove and Silver Slugger. I think it is safe to say he was the best CF in the league last year.

I am sure that plenty of teams want Kemp. Right off the bat that is a terrible deal. Hanson and Heyward would have to be the starting point in any deal with the Braves, no question about it.

Settle the McCourt's issues. Colletti has less money to spend. Trade Juan Pierre to Mets for Luis Castillo. Then go to the Blue Jays and ask what they want for Holliday. Trade the following: McDonald, Wade, and Billingsley for Holliday. Re-sign Wolf and Padilla. Build the bench as follows: re-sign Mentkwics (I cannot spell his name), re-sign Belliard, re-sign Castro, sign 4th outfielder (...

He's owed almost 18 million plus a million buyout for 2012. I don't think that's gonna happen.

I like DeWitt. I think that would be a viable option as long as we have an insurance plan. Belliard most likely. DeWitt is also nice to have on the bench because he can play more than one position and has a left handed bat.

I actually like this deal. Wolf isn't the most durable pitcher anyways. We might get a 1st rounder out of this if Wolf signs with a decent team. imo Jackson is a better pitcher.

MLB told Cuban "NO" to owning the Cubs, so you expect a "Yes" to owning the Dodgers? RIGHT.
