Trevor Hoffman, Dennys Reyes for the bullpen and a couple of hard throwers from the minors for the bullpen. Randy Wolf for the rotation. With these and Manny, the Dodgers win the NL West. If that is true than Barry Bonds is a class act and never used steriods and broke the record with Fred Flinstones vitamans and all Giants fans are true baseball geniuses.... Your so optimistic :)

Only problem with signing Juan Cruz is he is a type A Free Agent..... which means in addition to whatever contract we sign Cruz to, we'd also have to give up the 17th pick in the MLB draft to the Dbacks..... I hardly see how signing Juan Cruz is worth losing a 1st round pick over, especially when you have to give it to the DBacks..... IMO if we were to sign a type A Free Agent and lose our 1st round pick I rather sign someone with alot...

Hoffman, Reyes, Cruz and Mota

Reyes had a good season last year and it would be great to have at least two lefties in the bullpen. Actually, if Reyes is signed we may end up with three very good lefties in the pen (Elbert, Kuo and Reyes).

Good news for Boras and Jones, we have an opening this year for our softball league. Andruw can be the rover. If we pay him in free Hooters wings after games, I think we can lock him up for the next 3 years Your games will have to take place when Hooters is closed though.

The Dodgers sure can find some bums to sign. The last time Castro was on the Dodgers he was below the Mendoza line. The Nedster thinks anybody who has played a few years in the majors is signable. More of the 40 40 plan.

The aritcle about the Blyleven HOF debate on the front page got me thinking, which Dodger do you think should be in the hall but hasn't made it. And which current Dodger is most likely to reach the hall?

mlb.com dodgers.com has removed everything about the Dodgers being interested in him. What has happened to this franchise? Guys rather play for the freaking Brewers? I hope they (Milwaukee) offered him much more.

I would never give another dime to the McCourts and wait until a new ownership group took over to once again spend my money on the Dodgers.

If Boras asking price doesn't come down then Manny won't be wearing Dodger Blue again. I think with ST in a little over a month away from now. The Dodgers are going to move on if they can't reach a deal by the end of next week. Just my opinion. The Dodgers don't want to be left out in the cold. I look for the Dodgers to move on and sign Dunn. Some people are blaming Colletti for the hold up when ...

To me this is a no brainer. If Manny doesnt pan out, I'd much prefer Abreu. My wish list: Garland and Abreu!

With Hoffman off the table and Saito not returning, the Dodgers could opt for a closer by committee situation, perhaps giving Broxton the first crack at the job but maybe going with match-ups in certain situations. Kuo, with his electric stuff, could be another option. And I suppose they could even consider Juan Perez, should they sign him. It would be nice if Broxton could settle in and settle ...

for you water horders. That tool of ours gm he is shooting down the idea of manny coming up north through knbr. Could be a smoke screen. Outfield positions set according to him. Looks like if credes back checks out thats the 250-280 average with pop hes looking fo without having to trade sanchez. Plus he plays some damm defense. A priority of the tool. This of course would lead me to believe i ...

So it has been confirmed that Dodgers has restructured jones salary to 5 mill for this year - the rest of them is deferred up to additional 5 years - which beg the question: - who initiated this this deal - this is quite clever - it's a win win situation for both the dodgers and jones. for the dodgers by lowering salary for this year and spread it out ...for jone there's an upside..if the ...

I wouldnt mind keeping and moving Pierre (if He agreed) over to 2B. Frist of all he should be able to reach the infield now, 2nd his speed and bat would help out the line up by distracting the pitcher, 3rd the Mcantafords dont seem willing to spend any kind of money on the teams needs.

game last year. I know that may sound ridiculous but I much rather face him than Heath Bell. Once Hoffman was in the game I knew the Dodgers would at least have a chance to put the ball in play. Also, Hoffman seemed to walk a lot of Dodger batters last year. I really dislike the idea of signing Hoffman for anything more than another arm in the pen. Broxton, Wade or Kuo will do better in the...
