But Yao looks DIFFERENT than Kobe, James and Howard, therefore he will be subject to more bashing and hating. After all, BLODD IS THICKER THAN WATER !!

I don't have a problem with him playing, but when hes out there dogging it, being a mannequin on D, standing 6ft and beyond the 3pt line on O, and jus overall sukking and quitting, he not helping the team. If he's gonna play, then he needs to PLAY. I understand he playing with pain but there is no excuse for him to be out there dogging like that, and it simply cannot be tolerated..Somethjing has got to give..

The reason I keep harping on Yao is because he has mvp talent. He should really be unstoppable.

But going to Yao inside in those situations and resulting in a TO or Yao missing under defensive pressure would result in the same outcry from the fans. I believe the coach will have to make the decision and work with Yao on this. Then Yao will have to start using the mid-range a little at a time in game conditions at first, not at the cruch time right away. Unfortunately, there may be reasons why this has not been done. I would...

I Think he tries hard, But hes just like a sloth out there. Teams that are fast and athletic also expose yao's lack of atleticism. If only he would dunk when hes at close range instead of go for the soft touch, that would help us alot, and the most frustrating thing he does is when shorter guards take his rebound right out of his hands, it happened like 5 times last night. But you gotta take it, he is good for 20 and 10 every year, and...

Think about this logically, if u hurt your shoulder lifting weights you dont go bacc & start lifting weights in 2 days, you stop. You see the way he played when he rested for 2 weeks & came bacc, looked like his old self I think its pathetic he cant play wit pain, but on the other hand I dont kno how his knee feels as none of us do. The docs are BS, ofcourse he can hurt his knee further lmao. If he comes down the wrong way on...

In any case, what can we lose trying to add the mid-range shot to Yao's arsenal? fans here will bombard yao and label him soft and choked if he misses those shots and rox loses.

Rockets will capture the title this year, mark my words. By the end of the season, Shane, Artest, Mcgrady, Yao, Alston, Scola, Landry, Brooks will rise together, you guys have got to be more patience... patience is a virtue, if the rockets shows success now and get knocked out of the first round, you guys will still bash the hell out of them by then so it doesnt matter what you say now. For now...

What does this guy do well ??? Rudy Gay is a monster and this guy contibutes little. People here bash Chuck Hayes but he doesnt cost as much as Battier and he didnt cost the Rox Gay and Swift. Worst trade in the past decade

The tandem of Brooks and Alston go 5 for 24 with a combined 16 points. Wow.

Despite having never heard of this kid before this season, i like him man, he can drive the lane, shoot 3's, and hes pretty clutch as we saw last night with that 3 in the corner if we traded mcgrady, we could give him more playing time...win-win

With Tmac not playing, With Ron Artest Fouling out, & Yao Ming Finally being a closer against the defending champions of all teams.........Do you think this could be the win that salvages our Underachieving season so far??? If we can beat the celtics without Tmac & Artest fouling out, we should play hard everynight. Tmac needs to sit until he is 100% healthy, I dont want no half arse Tmac. Wafer...

We sometimes forget that hard work is more important than talent.Last year, Boston had hard work and they had talent. That's why theyran through everybody. I think we're just as talented, but we have towork hard. Sometimes we think Yao is just going to bail us out all thetime, or me or Tracy are going to bail us out. Sometimes Tracy thinkshis talent is going to take him. He can just cruise his ...

so..... i warned everyone about this 2 years ago. how many more times do we change everything around the "franchise player(s)" before we start wondering whether the "franchise player(s)" might have been the problem all along? remember, they are the only 2 players remaining every season on a team that hasnt made a forward stride since 2004-05. i dont think i can handle anymore "magic offenses...

ROX CAN NOT WIN ANYTHING MEANINGFUL WITH ALSTON AND BROOKS. Brooks is a nice backup providing occasional spark. Alston is arguably the worst starting pg in the league. 36% is beyond unaccepatable. And its not like hes going to come around his lifetime fg is 38%! Imagine what his shooting % would be if they weren't wide open shots!? He doesn't create shots for others, avg defensively @best wtf ...

From the horse's mouth: "I criticize myself," McGrady said Monday. "I can take it from anybody, from everybody. I know my ability. And when I do get right, all that ...is put to rest. So kick me when I'm down, because I swear to you, I'llbe back up. And when I get back up, I'm going to sit back, and I'mgoing to laugh, man, because I'm going to have the last laugh. Sure, TCrap, whatever you say. ...

so....it'll be a long night at work, New Years Eve and all, but I'll DVR the game tonight. no expectations. I dunno this team deserves our faith, altho it'll always have my support. lol. That's all our unpredictable guys can hope for. ...and ...

If you are going to bring out the race card, then let me tell you that you are doing no service to the hard working people who supported Obama to become the first african american president. Media and fans can see for themselves. Yao may not always play well, but he always tries. Take that game 7 versus Dallas. Yao was in there playing his heart out in a lost game, while T-Mac sat on the ...

Tarado96, Hater, and Daddy have been vindicated when we said at least a couple of years ago that Yao and Tmac were not a match and therefore they should be traded. TMac is a quitter. 'nuff said about it. Yao is a very good player who historically cannot bring the bacon home WHEN IT COUNTS. How many times you fans have watched Yao lose a most needed defense rebound in the waning moments of a ...
