Packer Board ZCHOF

wookie doesnt know what he is talking about, the guy actually thinks Dungy is a Offensive guru LOL Wins and Loses (records) is the only thing that matters. like gonzo ignores, Favre lost some playoff games, it doesnt matter Favre carried the team into the playoffs and the pack would have never been there if it wasnt for Favre. But the last win/loss is all that matters. Win/Loss (records) dont matter right? LOL only when it helps your cause...

You can blame Favre for that 4-12 record as much as you can acknowledge him for all of the great things he did as a Packer and all of the great seasons they had. Go look at the scores from the 2005 season and how close virtually all of those games were and say, with a straight face, the 30 INT's didn't cost them. I was at the Bengals game in Cincy where he threw 5 and they still had a shot at the end. The bottom line is Brett is...

Aikman vs The Gunslinger
Published (2009-12-05 23:44:00)
Not necessarily true. I think one of the big reasons that Brett becameso successful is the system he learned early. It matched his strongpoints. It allowed him to fire the ball into short tight windows. If you put Brett in the Chuck and Duck offense, he may still have been good, but nothing close to what he became. Nowafter years of playing he is better able to play in different systemsas last year showed, but it was being able to play...

Minnesota vs. Arizona

Thoughts on who pulls this one out? I think it's going to be a close one decided by 3 points. I hoping for the Cards but think the Vikes will pull it out.

Its supposed to snow on monday
Published (2009-12-03 20:40:00)
Green HAS practiced this week and there is no reason after the time off that he WILL PLAY Monday night. Whoever said earlier they would like Grant on stretch plays and Green up the middle... its the other way around, Green is better off guard/off tackle runs and Grant is better off center runs and then he finds a gap. Green and Grant should get a good amount of carries if they can pound it like Benson and Mendenhall did....

Our Playoffs Start Monday Night
Published (2009-12-05 10:39:00)
The playoffs began after the lose to TB. They can lose 2 games at the most from here on out, Keep in mind. The 5th seed gets us AZ. The 6th seed gets Dallas. Yes we beat Dallas but I would rather have to worry about AZ. Plus if that happens we get MN in the second RD. I'll have to call into work that day if that happens., there so many things wrong with this post i dunno where to start first the playoffs did not start after the TB...

OT: Florida vs. Alabama

In a side note: That Arizona QB looked pretty darn good beating a decent USC defense today 21-17 for the Holiday Bowl berth. Has the size (6'5" 235 lbs), and has a nice arm. He went 22-40, 239 yards with 1 INT and 2 TDs including a 36 yarder for the game winner.

thats because Favre kept the games close, he didnt lose any of the games in 05, nor his INTs... just like Rodgers didnt win any games this year Wrong again. Week 3 2005 - Tampa 17, Green Bay 16 The Packers took over the ball with 5:52 to play in the fourth quarter at the 50 yard line. They were in prime position to gain a first down or two and kick a game-winning field goal. Instead, after picking up 2 yards, the gunslinger threw deep...

those bad years were no more to be blamed on Favre, than last years record is to be blamed on Rodgers... i am not a fan of Favre right now, but c'mon, the man gave it all he had while he was here, and sometimes we just didnt have the talent around him, or like last year, were plagued with injuries, as in the 4-12 season, oh and one year we had maybe one of the worst coaches to ever coach in ...

If the Packers make the playoffs I don't see MM going anywhere. I think Weiss 1st step back into the NFL would be as an OC not as a HC anywhere.

I think it's pretty obvious that Favre is able to find success wherever he plays. I think he would have been alright never coming to Green Bay. Developing under Holmgren certainly helped him develop into the greatest of all-time. But Favre is pretty adaptable, I think he would have thrived under any system. If Aikman came to Green Bay, then maybe Green Bay never hires Ron Wolf. So Wolf ...

The Vikings have been a dominant team this year. However, if you take a closer look at their schedule their dominance is put into perspective. Against teams with 5 or more wins San Fran 5-6: Won on a last second 1 in a million throw. Packers 7-4: Defeated a limping Packers team by 7 in the dome Baltimore 6-5: Won on a last second missed field goal. Pittsburgh 6-5: Beat up by a mediocre ...

Favre: "I have no problem with em signing or not signing him. Yea I lobbied hard, but then after the draft that year, Ted was asked about is true that Favre lobbied hard to get him? And then there had been a lot of stuff about Tom Brady calling and getting Randy Moss and I think a lot of Tom. But I'm thinking man, you know he makes a couple calls and gets him signed and I've been working my ...

I'm so tempted to go trolling on the Vikings board. But there is no need to since all there fans were just bjtch slapped with a dose of reality that the Super Bowl is not happening (not my style anyways). Good show Brees and Co.

Wow, than Favre carved up the best D in the league like it was a thanksgiving turkey. 40 year old, no training camp Favre. How do you spell MVP? F-A-V-R-E?

Have more posts about Favre than the Viking board. Seriously go there and check. They seem to realize that it's about the team but all these sorry a-ss, bitter, trolls seem to talk about it none stop. Get a life people. I'm hoping for GB vs MINN 3 in the playoffs (That's Favre's best choke time or have you forgotten) just so we can beat them and get these people off the board. If you love Favre...

Allen isn't even the sack leader? There can be disagreement on who should get it, but there is no logical argument that Woodson isn't one of the front runners.

Why do we have Colts fan posters coming to this board complaining about Packer trolls meaning you saying that the VIking QB should be the MVP over Peyton Manning. Change your name to Favre1962 so we dont have to try and defend you when you go trolling on other boards Favre was great for the Packers I loved all he did and the games he won. I am a Packer fan and when he plays for an opponent ...

...had Sherman or (especially) Teddy made a commitment to wininng with him. Sherman at least TRIED to provide a running game (O-line and RB) and a legit deep threat (JWalker). Ted put more effort in NOT providing talent for Favre than he did sucking Harlan's big toe, which is a significant amount of effort. Back to the thread title........the Vikes managed a couple FA's and a few good ...
