Very cool. You will probably agree with me then when I say that Aussies are the salt of the earth. I have traveled far and wide on this planet and had the occasion to meet Aussies in some very out the way places...always by chance...but I'll be damned if I haven't had the times of my life with with folks from Australia. You will never meet more honest, down-to-earth, fun people to be around than Aussies. From Johannesburg to Bangkok...

CMN Classic Pick Em

My top 4 fired -22 on Thursday... this one is going a little better than my Aussie Pick Em Disaster Squad. I can't believe how damn consistent you are in these pick 'ems, Dagger. If there were points given out for top 3 placings you'd be so far ahead you'd have it locked up! As far as the Aussie pick em disaster, well, somebody has to win...but that thing is brutal, lol.

Well, here's how bad I am at the pick 'ems. In the Aussie Open, I took Michael Campbell over Nitties and Cejka over Dufner. Granted, I couldn't have taken both with the restrictions, but the 2 I passed over are doing pretty well. Oh, and my "out on a limb" pick in David Duval........I used him to replace Justin Leonard. How I have 2 wins is one of life's great mysteries.

-34 after 2nd round. Steve Lowrey missed the cut at even, so just my 4 left. Rose and Leonard are doin' ya right. Fowler fell off for me... I'm only at -25 now, but still have all 5 horses in the race.

Tiger losing his patience.
Published (2009-11-13 05:13:00)
He needs to go to a strong 3 wood with a smaller head and just hit it 280 off the tee and be happy. He was a better driver with a smaller headed one back in his hey day. ~OH CANADA

LOL at Tiger and Phil...
Published (2009-11-08 07:29:00)
So, are the trolls going to claim that Mickelson had it handed to him by Els? That's exactly what they would say if it was Woods on the receiving end of an Ernie special.

Tiger will destroy the TOUR in 2010
Published (2009-11-09 06:23:00)
My brain says a year very similar to this year, almost mirroring it to a tee...but maybe with a major thrown in and a lot of tournaments lost due to spotty putting. The fandom in me wants him to dominate like 2000 again, the majors are all in very favorable venues, if there ever was a time for him to win 10 tournaments and at least 2 majors then this is it. But more so than the final outcome, I want him to show me that this past year was a...

Is Tiger practicing out there
Published (2009-11-13 05:33:00)
3 wood off the dirt from...about 260 meters on a low draw shot under a tree blocked by 2 bunkers? ... Totally losing his patience, ant. That was a horribly uncharacteristic play for him right there. Terrible judgement. Then again, he probably figures he can take some risks, not pull them off, and still win, lol. Probably..lol...He didn't get bird either....Honestly I think he is tooling or something....Last week was all...

Do golfing enthusiast like boxing?
Published (2009-11-12 06:39:00)
It's all part of the sweet science. Holding is part of the sport and I think it's used too much by certain fighters. I think it's strategic to hold if your hurt but not to hold all fight long. That's boring so I agree with you there. But that's mostly just the black and puerto rican fighters that hold, oh and Ricky Hatton. You guys should scope out the boxing forum just so you can see that boxing is not dead....

If he says he'll only play at QB in the NFL, then I agree he'll never play. If he's willing to play where ever, when ever ,then he will make some team's roster because he is a " football player" period. I could see him running a wildcat pkg on short down and goal-line situations, special teams, etc.

I just caught the end of this tournament and he threw down a club that bounced in the crowd???? Jesus Tiger enough is enough. I feel like i tell it like it is when it comes to Tiger and i cant belive he slammed his club and let it go into the crowd? The cussing i think he could stop but i can get over that(some can't i can),the occasional flip of the club to the bag im ok with, heck i can ...

Unfortunately these stories are becoming all too commonplace in sports lately. Huskyhater would say it is a certain golfer's fault who has brung the ghetto mentality to sports.

With all the talk of the bad driver, he's not even close off the tees with three wood either today.

You expect Phil to miss those once in a while but it's becoming routine to see Tiger miss these putts.

Ok, well here goes nothing. Pick 7 players. Of your first 5 players, there must be a minimum of 4 countries represented. Your final 2 players are "wild card" picks. If you choose Tiger in your first 5 picks, you may not choose any wild card players. Winner will be determined by total money won. $100K extra given to predicting the correct winning score. $50K extra given to predicting ...

Islanders, you seem to be changing your tune about late season wins now that Phil is starting to win them. But anyway, that was a big win for Phil. The way he finished this season can't be overlooked. But it's not like we haven't seen this before, this kind of reminds me of 2007, when Phil also won this event. (Not the last 2 years) He dueled, and beat Tiger, in the playoffs, and than went ...
