Who will we sign this off-season?
Published (2009-11-24 21:45:00)
So Azu is here for this year AND two more. According to NBA rules options cannot exist on any year of a contract except the final year and ETOs cannot be put into contracts unless the contract is a six-year deal. So under no circumstances will Azubuike be a free agent next season (unless the Warriors waive him, which they are not going to do). sorry, i was confused. i was looking at espn trade machine, and it says that he has 1 yr left...

Lakers at Warriors Prediction
Published (2009-11-28 23:15:00)
Not to be a party p00per, but I'm going to give this one to the Lakers in a double-didget victory. No way Phil Jax gets suckered into the Warriors brand of gadget-ball.

The Michigan team was good, not as good as the Fab Five team, in terms of talent. Tarpley had some talent. And just to cliarify, I was really trying to talk about talent which doesn't neccessarily correlate with winning. Billy Owens could be out of shape and hungover, show up late, and drop a triple-double in a win. That's talent. Yeah. Owens was a man against boys in college.

Can we trade Monta?
Published (2009-11-25 22:27:00)
I could see Melo forcing his way out of Denver after a couple of seasons of losing to the Lakers in the WCF. Losing wears on superstars. Durant will almost ceratinly force his way out of OKC at some point in his career. Roy could get dealt if the right deal came along.

Can we trade Monta?
Published (2009-11-28 11:51:00)
If Monta continues to dominate on offense and show up on D then yeah, he won't be traded. But the odds are one of Monta/Curry/Morrow will be traded for a real '3'. Fortunately the warriors have some time before they round out their roster.

NBK, as the Warriors won against Dallas, are you going to credit Nelson?

Bobcats loose 7th in a row
Published (2009-11-27 23:26:00)
They won 2 games but against 2 mediocre teams, Indiana and Toronto. Jackson seems like the same Jackson we had and I think the Bobcats will struggle with him as their main man, as any team would. Let's see how they do against Cleveland tonight. If I were the Bobcats I'd wait until closer to the trade deadline and try to flip Jackson to another team for a better fit.

Trade: Nets
Published (2009-11-28 22:13:00)
Warriors send Corey Maggette and Speedy Claxton to the Nets for Terrance Williams, Tony Battie and Keyon Dooling... This would give the Nets a scorer to help out Devin Harris and Chris Douglas-Roberts. It will only add $3.5 million to their payroll next season. Which could (probably not) lure a bigger free agent to join an established set of players and with their 1st overall(odds are) pick they could be set up well for the next few seasons....

This trade is only help the Warriors, this make absolutely no sense forthe Nets. The Nets have just enough to sign a big time player in theoffseason, why would they take in Maggette contract?

they should just let him keep his job, watch from the wings, collect his wins and then retire, i know a lot of you are bashing him but i think he deserves that much.

I think it's a legitimate topic of discussion, but trading Morrow is so hard to think about. He can be an amazing weapon but can also disappear for long stretches, a lot like Mikael Pietrus. When he does disappear, is it him not doing everything he should to assert himself, or is it Jackson, Maggette, Monta and others preferring their own shots and not moving the ball? Plus, like JRich was, he ...

Can we waive Nelson? I guarantee you that if Nellie was coaching last night we would have gotten 40+ minutes of Maggette and we would have lost. I love the 6 man rotation to beat the best team in the league ... that was brilliant.

I agree 100 percent. He has the complete package for a PG. It will take a lil time, but you can tell he will develop into a really good point for our future. The Warriors look completely different with the way they are all passing and moving the ball. Passing is contagious and that's what Curry has brought to this team and I'm very happy to see it.

Jackson requested a trade because he knew the warriors would not make the playoffs this year and not contend for a ring until he retires. Nellie started getting on his back when Jackson stopped giving a f¢uk about games. the national media usually has no idea whats going on, and this is no different.

I would like to see us resign bell for the right price and resign Morrow long term, but the other guys. would they hold up in our style of running? I like the team we have and would like to see them grow. I do agree we should have never traded J Rich and should've resigned Baron but its to late (and so many more I dont want to think about)We have a good young nucleus with Steph, Monta, Morrow, ...

I agree 100%. He looked very good and held his own against Oden. Nelly in the post game interview said that after the game he told Rowel that they need to find a way to keep him on the team even when Biedrens and Turiaf come back. I like him over Micky from what I saw tonight. It was only 13 minutes though so give him a few more games until we buy to much into him.
