How bout once every other year or so BC schedules a huge OOC name like Alabama or Ohio State that travels well. Play the game at Gillette stadium and try to pack it with 80,000 fans.

Why is this loser acting like teams have any control over who they play in bowl games? You know that's a good point. Imagine how many more BCS bowl wins the Big 10 would have over the ACC if they didn't have to play all the top dogs for the last half of this decade.... Imagine if VT had to play Texas this year.... lol So let me get this straight... You are trying to say that getting smashed year in and year out...

LOL @ these Wisconsin losers coming over here to troll. They are so upset that their team got devoured by a real football team in Orlando. 42-13 GO NOLES!!!

Thanks, and I agree completely. I too thought we would lose by double-digits (though closer than most), and I was very impressed with how the team played. We definitely didn't play a perfect game---playcalling offensively in a couple of instances and defensively on the final drive were questionable and penalties hurt (though they hurt Texas too)---but all in all we played about as well as I could've expected. It's just that...

Did the Gator bowl screw the ACC?

The choice was not just about ticket sales, but which team would add the most money to the local economy... Hotel rooms, restaurants, etc. It's over and done. The Gator Bowl was the most entertaining bowl to watch . I hate that Clemson lost, but it wasn't until the last play in the last few second of the game that the game was decided. Go to Huskerboard.com if you want to see what Nebraska thought of the matchup. I...

Hokies will upset Bama in 2009

Mark Schlabach seems to think so. Link below. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?columnist=schlabach_mark&page=predictions09/ncf I hope you do, but just be careful not to be the next Clemson. Regarding UF going back to back, wire to wire, blah blah blah. Have you seen their 2009 schedule? They should go undefeated (except for a certain in-state game at the end of November)

If BC's next coach turns out to be horrible, will they keep him for the entire contract? It would be interesting to see what BC's AD would think about loyalty and honoring contracts then.

It has been said by thousands and thousands of people. We need a playoff in college football. But there is one thing that is causing this not to happen, and that is the current bowl system. The school presidents love this system because they get money from the bowls to support the other athletic programs at the university. What if there was a way to have a playoff and still have all the bowls ...

Yes, you read it right: A Business Perspective. I'm not going to go into the BCS because plenty people already have but I'm going to look at college football as an entirety and at least try and givve you some views on how askewed it's becoming. How Can You Relate Business into College Football? -It's easy. It's called business competition. What does this have to do with college foorball? ...

First of all I would like to say that it was a heck of a game between Nebraska and Clemson, might have been the funnest one to watch all season, but would things have turned out differently if FSU played NU and Clemson was matched up vs Wisky?

Terry is now at a Division 2 program. But Tommy is available. So is one of Bowden's other sons (the one that got busted for widespread fraud). Heck, even Bobby is available. He does not coach anymore. Would you BC guys consider taking one of the Bowdens for us please?

I mean, talk about dominance. A matchup doesn't get more one-sided than that. And Mr. Sanders certainly made a name for himself tonight.

Darrius Heyward-Bey WR from MD is going pro. It should be a crime how little the Terps were able to use him. He is by far one of the best WRs in the nation and on any team that could use him right he could be posting insane numbers. Oh well, I hope he ends up at a team I enjoy in the NFL. I think he could definitely be a top WR just with his speed for the size he has (which also helps him break...

What's important is winning games from conferences that don't suck. The Big 11 is obviously the worst conference as usual. Nobody will respect us with victories over Big 11 teams. If we want respect, we need to beat teams from the real conferences.

Reported on Channel 7 News in Boston (Sources: Eagleinsider.com) 2 years at BC, 2 ACC CG appearances. But let me say this..Good Riddance. He just spent two years at BC and before his first year began, he said he would take BC to the next level (To the BCS) and he didn't do that. GDF could've handled this situation better but it is what it is. If anyone is wondering, it was reported earlier ...

OK, so how about some way to early predictions: My picks for the Hokies Record: 13-1 (9-0 in conference). I think we lose an out of conference game to either Bama or Nebraska to mess up the NT hopes but run the table in conference. I know GT this and UNC taht, but hey it is a prediction right? Divison Rank: 1 Conference Rank: We win the ACC-CG Offensive MVP: Darren Evans has a...

Because the 30 seconds they have spent to show the highlights is time they would have rather used jerkin off USC, jesus christ.
