i don't completely disagree with you... drafting an OL in the first.... I personally do not see coffman falling that far in 2nd... but love to draft TE in 2nd 3rd only thing that wont happen for sure is Tebow making it past 2nd round. Coffman is a great talent, but he broke his foot on MU's final play of overtime in the Tigers' 30-23 win over Northwestern........... He had a pin inserted into his foot and should be...

Found this today on SI's All Dissappointment Team, perfect for this thread. Cornerback DeAngelo Hall, Raiders/Redskins -- The mind boggles at the fact Oakland gave Atlanta second- and fifth-round picks for Hall last offseason, and then handed him a seven-year, $70 million contract that included $24.5 million of guarantees. He got torched so routinely this season that the Raiders released him after just eight games, for which he was paid...

Beckum, from Wisconsin, is my fav TE in the draft, but I doubt he will be a good enough blocked to run Smith's scheme...Tebow on the other hand, I believe, will want to play QB...I do think we should draft a QB in the 4th round this draft, so we could groom him as a good backup and maybe get luckly and deal him in 3 years like Shaub

Mora ,Knapp together again

From Adam Schefter......... A hint of Atlanta has surfaced in Seattle. Just as former Falcons coach Jim Mora worked with his offensive coordinator Greg Knapp in Atlanta, the same arrangement now has been finalized in Seattle. Knapp arrived in Seattle this week, once his Oakland Raiderscontract expired, to begin working as the Seahawks' new offensivecoordinator, a league source said Wednesday.

#1 priorty for the draft is QUARTERBACK!!!!! this prevented you from a win today.....the truth hurts Yawn... This 23 year old QB is still developing. It would've been very interesting to see what he could do with a 2 minute drill and his first playoff game on the line. The kid's tough. And he'll be back in the playoffs.

To early to talk draft Naaaaaaaaa..... As I thought it looks like we are going to shore up the D-Line in FA and draft for the O-Line................ "There are a number of free agents," Dimitroff said. "It's going to be a busy time, mainly on the defensive side of the ball because they are up. http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/printedition/200 9/01/06/falcons.html Regarding the latter, ...

Is it a possibility that we could get BC's recently fired coach as an assistant? He was Matt Ryan's former head coach. Just a quick thought.

We desperately need Defensive help, I think we go for LB's and Safties and some D-line and a TE. Those are what I believe we are going for and will get. I dont know who we will get in the draft, but in FA there is some nice names out there we could grab and improve our team for next year. What are some names out there in the Draft that could fill some holes we have?

OUTSIDE LINEBACKER TO REPLACE KEITH BROOKING.. let's face it, he's done SAFETY TO REPLACE MILLOY.... he's done as well, we knew he was OFFENSIVE LINEMAN... despite the year they had, they were exploited today, we need a Tackle, Sam Baker at LT was probably a mistake as he was getting burned all day by an average pass rusher, stick him at RT or G. SHUTDOWN CORNER... Chris Houston isn't what we...

LOL at all you delusional fans that said Ryan was better than Vick ever was. The only thing he was better at was handing the ball off to Michael Turner. Shut down Turner and Ryan looked like complete garbage. REally he's looked like garbage for like 4 weeks leading up to the game. The defense was just bailing out his play

Lets face it, the game this Saturday will be a tough game against the Cardinals but we all know that the Falcons will win. Great season for all you Cardinals fans out there. With that said, I think playing in Carolina will be a tough matchup. Carolina knows what the Falcons has in stored and vice versa. If we can effectively stop the run and Steve Smith than we will have a good shot.

wow your running game hasn't been doing crap all day and these brain dead atlanta coaches still belive the old sayinh "you have to run the ball to open up the passing game" thats been proven to be B.S why couldn't the Falcons just put a guy in the slot, spread out the offense in a shot gun, and just throw short passes in the slot underneeth, screen passes and just take what the defense gives...
