Just to prove a point as to why many footballers are stupid look at the comment about being the victim of many injuries. That will accelerate Inter Milan's interest surely. Damaged goods.

What kind of player are you?
Published (2009-01-08 23:51:00)
I think most people here play or have played football at some point in their lives. Well, what kind of player are/were you and what position did you play if any? I've never actually played on a team with 11 players. I pretty much stopped playing football when i moved to the US back in 02. I just played a bit of cricket now and then. Since I've started, I've mainly been playing indoor soccer with 5 players on a team. Our team...

Cesc and Van Persie

They might as well change their name to Arselona seeing as they always go after OUR players. Wouldn't be surprised if either of them went to the poachers and join their best friend, Hleberson and enemy Mr Snakeman in simply passing the ball to Messi or Eto'o. I think if we won the FA Cup we'd be able to keep van Persie for another season or so but Cesc is as good as gone. No, no, Cescman and Robin are with us for a while. ...

I had a bunch of posts removed!? What for!? All that I said was that when I played players looked mean, but now a days players try and make them self look pretty? What is offencive about that? Don't know anything about your posts but I can tell you that pretty is the new mean. You'd know this yourself if you watched America's next Top Model or even Gossip Girl. ;-D

Whats up with this story making the rounds that Barcelona are after Cesc and Robin? These guys are so obsessed with Arsenal that every good player at the club is targeted by them. I think Arsenal need to put an embargo on selling anything to Barcelona even if the player wants to go because they now see us as a feeder club.

why would you want to sign a player that can't even get into the starting XI of a team in the relegation zone? he wouldn't bring in experience either. Because I think he is a quality player. Thought I made that clear.... I agree last season he was doing ok. he must be out of the City team for a reason. (could be injury linked). It's not as though City are doing really well and he's being kept out of...

We have had this running debate all summer about the players we lost and who we miss with a majority feeling we missed Flamini but we really dont miss Hleb because according to them Hleb was ineffective. A few even go as far as suggest that Nasri has adequately replaced Hleb even though it is obvious we are no longer as dominant in possesion, we cant keep the ball and we are not creating chances ...

http: //soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=607726& sec=uefachampionsleague&cc=5739 Apparently aware of the rules beforehand, Real Madrid have embarked on a brave mission to try and change the rules to allow Huntelaar and Lass - er - Diarra - both to be registered for the Champions League. For all the things one can laugh about at various teams, such as Spurs, this one really ups the funniness ...

Homophobia has about as much a place in football as racism so if Scolari really did say the comments attributed to him regarding not allowing a gay player to play on a team he coaches, then I hope he continues to catch flack for it. Chelsea should be ashamed for hiring that guy if these allegations are true. It is 2009 for goodness sake. I can't even believe we need to discuss this issue.

Finally some Cup action! Nothing says must win and put in effort like a knockout competition (Hint, hint...Diaby, Bendtner and Eboue). Hopefully, we will not even have to worry about these guys out on the pitch. I pray that Wenger saw the electricity in Vela and Ramsey during our last league fixture and choose them in the starting line-up. I remember Arsene saying that we will take this ...

....I know...Its from a tabloid. They like sensationalising news...They twist the facts...However, this is the Mail and not the News of the world. If I do not see a strong denial of this story from Arsenal and Hill-Woods before am tomorrow then I have to accept that the board is the problem and not completely Arsene. Don't get me wrong, the current economic climate calls for some prudence and ...

Anyone hear the crowd chanting "We Want Arshavin" today? I wish the crowd would get more educated on the team. What is spending 20 mil on another striker when we have Ade, RVP, Bendtner, Eduardo, and Vela going to do? Should of been chanting "We want a defensive midfielder" or "We want a CB" and not fall into wanting the big name player without looking at the effect it would actually have on the ...

United are quick off the mark, one of the first big clubs to agressively go after talented Serbian players after a period where Serbian players were unpopular in the European transfer market (The wars with Bosnia and Kosovo). Anyway the point is Ferguson is willing to spend 17m on a 17 year old teenager and a 21 year old emerging player. If this was Arsene Wenger there would be hell on this ...

Don't even need to look at the league table to see whats going on in the EPL once you see a statement like this. There's a leader, and United are hovering just a couple of points back. Some things never change. http://www. skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_47537 17,00.html
