Quote: You basically can't pump your AC high enough to stop the first or second attack of most creatures in the BAB +11 range. So as someone else pointed out upthread, the point of AC at high levels is to deflect the 3rd (-10) and 4th (-15) attacks. As a PC or npc? A lot of monsters tend to use natural attacks, and if you give them improved multiattack, this effectively means that all their attacks are made at the same bab. So if your AC...

I've done it several different ways, but I found that building web pages only gets in the way of what I want to do, which is actually develop the content. The least intrusive "web page builder" I've found is pbwiki. If you go to their site, they give you free space, an editor (wysiwig or wiki -- I prefer the wiki) and let you do your thing. There are several similar ones out there. I think even Google has one now.

Many of the Warden 's attacks feel like Battle Magic. You could treat this as a character with career paths in both Druidic Priest and melee professions (like Gamekeeper and Woodsman). The big difference between Primal classes in 4th edition and the feel of Druidic Priests in Warhammer is spells. The ritual caster feat is only available if you have skill training in Arcana or Religion . You may want to allow Primal characters to use...

I also ordered a new USB wireless card for the desktop because the room where it's located has no cable outlet for our high speed connection. Otherwise, yeah, it should be fine. Thanks for the offer though.

I've been doing some heavy permutations/probability number crunching over the break, and I wanted to run something past the folks here. Playing around with possible speed fixes for iterative attacks, I've found something that works pretty good for me personally: At 6th level, you get a 2nd attack, but both attacks suffer a -2 penalty (-2/-2 instead of 0/-5). At 11th level, the penalty ...

I recently unearthed The Compleat Spell Caster and The Compleat Alchemist by Bard Games, both circa 1983 from an old box of RPG goodies in the basement. Anyone remember these? I am trying to create a homebrew world for use with C&C and I am excited about adding these to the mix. Anyone got any good or bad memories about these old books? I particularly like the Witch/Warlock and the ...

Hiya. I've started work on "Raven Crowking's Fantasy Game", a varient engine built off of the SRD and other OGC materials. It is intended to be all-or-nearly-all OGC, and will be available for free from my website when completed. The main goals I have are: easy to run sandbox games easy to rule/stat on the fly easy to use/adapt materials from other systems, including all ...

Hi ho ladies, gentlemen and 7th dimensional, cephalopods of a distinctly green-grey hue! I was wondering if anyone has read and played the often EN World header advertised StarBlazer Adventures yet?
