My turn and I admit freely I should be much better at EKGs than I am. At least I thought I was OK until coming to this site. Anyway, I would like to see a 12 lead because I am seeing ST elevation in lead one and ondering if a 12 lead would show the same thing and if there would be elevation in V2 indicating a septal wall MI from the LCA or probably the RCA. I see multifocal PVCs and looking at the second strip I am seeing in the latter part...

It looks like there are some sinus beats in there leading me to believe that there is a sinus rhythm which is being usurped and there are also a couple PVCs mixed in. Could be infection or another irritant causing the ursurpation. He is a sick man. Without knowing meds, I would really push this man to be taken and seen. This could actually be the work of medication if it is not an infection. He needs a cardiac echo, CBC, Trop, and creatinine...

So I recently started doing EKG recognition in my Intermediate class and someone turned me onto this website. I thought it was pretty cool just to practice recognition. Granted it doesn't have artifact or anything but its still fun. Give it a try and let me know what you think. EKG Game -Z ps. it works better ...
