I've got a 649 ticket for tonight. Should that not work out, I think we should go with JTM's plan for the 12 way split. Count me as 1 of the 12.

Antares Hampton, Childeric Model M, Amerigo DJ or the newer Farouche Model. L'Apoge modelled after the Childeric. All of these saddles are commonly scene and are a good fit for an equitation ride. However it is really the horse that you are sitting on that may or may not help with equitation.

I used Jess Stringer once... she re-stuffed and fitted a saddle for me on site. The stuffing was so uneven, and the fit so wrong, my mare was practically crippled as soon as the girth was done up. Would certainly not recommend.

Set up a raised pole (don't make it high - a few inches off the ground is good) on the centerline. At the walk, start doing a 10-meter circle over the rail, maintaining contact and flexion as you go over the rail. Once you're doing it comfortably on one rein, switch to the other. Once the walk is good on both reins, try the same thing at the trot. If your horse is jumping the rail, make it lower. The point is to have the horse pick...

Not for myself, but asking for another horse owner/rider. Rider needs a hunter coach willing to travel to her barn, and give lessons on her show horse. Please PM or post here if you know of any coaches willing to travel in Hamilton/Binbrook area. We're going to call this horse "Bob" to make things easier. So Bob is having some difficulties at shows , and these incidents started to occur and continue over the past few months....

Hi there... Usually the divisions such as the adults (younger and older), the children's, the juniors and the owners are only run over 1 day at the smaller shows. For example, most of the Halton shows run those divisions over one day and I believe that maybe Cornerstone does in some circumstances, correct me if I'm wrong! Anyway, most Palgraves run all of those divisions over 2 days. At the ...

i realized that it helped me and my horse to balance when we did surphinsines ( or an "S" accross the width of the arena) but do them smaller that usual. and practising rollbacks with poles should help you. but in no coach. hehe. so these might not work for you... im doing jumpers too...good luck.

No experience in this but... Do you have a record of what the measurements were when you sent them in? If so, can you measure the boot? I realize it will not be a perfect measurement but if there is as drastic a change as you are describing...I would document this, and send the measurements in to customer service, copying what the orginal measurements were. Document all communication with ...

Without seeing a picture I suspect it's one of the Myler type bits which have a swivel type port in the mouth. They come in a variety of cheek styles, D ring is a popular one. http://mylerbitsusa.com/correctional_barrel.shtml The one in the top left picture on the righthand side is what I'm thinking. I own one of these and it's great for a horse which can get a bit heavy in front as it has ...

As a jumper rider, I doubt I would make it out on a Friday. Mainly because
there are already too many Fridays in the season that I need to take the
time off work.

I went in 2007, it was super to watch as there was a suprisingly small # of auditors and the clinicians (aka George and friends) spent a good amount of time talking to those of us who were there (maybe 20) and getting us involved with the technical reason behind the excersises. What they did a few years back that was really cool was they had a horse painted with the muscle structures which they ...

Can your coach not help?? Scouting for horses is a large part of what we do for a living. At least what I do. I spend about 20% of my time on horse sales - following up leads, keeping track of what's for sale/lease, going out on wild-goose chases (sometimes), and networking with RELIABLE sellers. Do yourself a favour: find a reliable, reputable agent and work through them. It will be the best ...

Is this the person posting in General Horsey Chat? If not, sounds very similar-might get some ideas there. There is a looking for a barn/coach/trainer forum for a specific ad too-might get a more targeted audience.

Jes Stringer - Stringer Equestrian. Really like her. Fit all my horses (a range of types, range of saddles) for me and they are all happy and healthy in them. She takes her time, will answer any number of questions you have and will take you through why she likes one saddle vs another. And she lives in Newmarket.
