I hear ya sirka. I didnt even bother with the Tiger Challenge. I only did a couple events, and that was just to get Tigers Swing and some expert clubs. The Tiger Challenge just takes too much time.

A couple of things. First off i am married with kids and think what he put his family through (the kids) is un-forgivable and he will be punished with that every morning he wakes up without his children or every time he finishes 18 and only has fans there to congradulate or comfort or boo him, or on christmas morning when he is without the pitter patter of little feet. I am a mans man and nothing is more important to me then my kids...

big daddy, I find my eyes drift away from the ticker and I never notice what is on there. If I really want sports information at an instant I will go online and select what I want to see, not what EA feels it needs to update. On that note, I have no idea why you are not seeing what you want to see.

cocarr,I do believe that the controller does have a part to play in it. If you use a stock controller I don't think you can get the repetitive perfectly straight shots you need to be able to hit your spots all the time. I agree with the Kill shot aspect I just think it's a combination of the 2 that sinks the ship.

PS3 Trophies question

There are 2 trophies that are question marks. Someone told me one you get for doing 20 mulligans in a game and one you get for hitting from a hazard to a hazard. Well that didn't work, so does anyone know what these really are?

Well I set the difficulty sliders for my clubs to the max. Although it doesn't specifically say that the sliders are only for the analog swing I think that they are. I didn't notice any difference w/ the 3-click swing.

You need more tour pro players on your friendslist.
Check the Tour Pro tournament leaderboards and any day you'll find a list of who they are, send them a note and I bet in a few days you'll have more people to play than you'd ever want. Fact is that many tour pro players have done that so they generally just arrange matches privately with friends so you won't find them in the ...

Depending on how hard it's snowing you will get either light or steady rain in the game. It should pick up the 50mph winds though (unless those are just the gusts, it goes by average steady wind or whatever The Weather Channel goes by.)
If making snow for the game took a significant amount of time/resources I would say skip it and focus on more important issues we'd like to see ...

Hi,
I'm a new player, 1 month now, and i'm starting to tune clubs and trying to choose the best combination.
my stats are all approx. 11 or higher. I don't have a max stats suit but i think i'm working towards it as i'm finding myself not playing the course for score sometimes but for keeping my stats up.
I haven't seen that suit in the pro shop. I read here that it's 5 ...

Cocarr...you are going to drive yourself crazy trying to map this stuff. Relax, play and whatever happens happens.
The only time I restart is if I feel I missed an easy holeout on hole 1..other than that I play it thru.
The thing that gets me about this game...I can go a week and holeout everything on amateur, and putt perfectly on tour. The next week I can't holeout a ...

It's probably already finished and ready to test (do a better job this year EA). Most of us who buy this are adults and could not care what Tiger was doing. It sucks, I'd rather see him play.

That's really interesting. EA needs to fix it, as golf in real life is much harder than in all golf video games. I know that in PGA Tour Pro, made in 1997, if you set it to hard it is really hard.

If you played 04 or 05 then you should pick the game up fast. There will be a bit of a learning curve but nothing too drastic. The biggest issue you will probably encounter is the new putting system. The option is still there to use the old method but Tour Pro events require use of the new putting method anyway so I would recommend learning that right from the start and eliminate ...

Its EA's mindset that you should be able play rounds over and over so I will say no. This is the reason I and many others dont even bother with those stupid tourneys.
