Why do they list two differnet part numbers? Is it for right and left side and why would one be more? Could it be theres two differnt sizes? And are there different rotors for sport package? 01 Brake disc, ventilated 286X22 2 34111164431 $83.89 01 Brake disc, ventilated 286X22 2 34111165455 $85.55

Thermostat gauge periodically drifts to the cool side... Tech help please
Hi all,
Before anyone suggests to do a forum search... I have and the consensus that people have is that the reason a temp gauge is on the cool side is that the thermostat is faulty and that it is stuck open. Although I believe this may be true in my situation,...

Sounds like the buahings in your shifter assembly are wearing out. I'm not to familiar with the xi's but it looks like 2,5 and 12 are the xi equivilent raplacement parts for the 5th gear lean.

what about some 'tuff stuff' carpet/upolstery cleaner. Ive used it and noticed that its actually to strong to use for average, but you are desperate...it might work. It works great on my Ford truck seats and carpet. takes out stains I would have never thought would have come out. On our bmw I only use it sparingly, it seems to 'bleach' the leather. I use it on the grimey door handles and tuff...

I think its ok, but many others will say that its a NO NO, because they believe that it is rice.
They put M3 bumper and M3 hood on their car, but if someone puts a M3 fenders they call him stupid or rice or idiot or dumb.
I dont think that you are one.
Just post pics(even in process ) and you get more responses

WTH, It is not a good idea to use synthetic oil on older cars that have not been used synthetic because you will have oil leaks through the older/dry seals but our cars are not that old.

I would suggest that you ask this question on a different forum. Most of the people here are gonna reply "don't do it, it's not worth it"
while they do have a point, I personally think they reply with that because they don't know anything besides modding cars visually.
And I think that the people who actually know something don't bother posting.

A repair with a mod added in...
So the previous owner messed up my car pretty good. The front radiator support had a bunch of pieces cut out of it so it would fit my car. Getting this piece out means taking apart what was left of the front end. So out came lights, plastic shrouds, secondary fan, and such.
and the damaged/badly altered item:...

I need ideas for mods (photos included)
Of how to make my car look meaner and more aggressive while keeping it looking very clean at the same time. So far I was thinking about getting the UUC TSE3 exhaust and H&R super sport springs. Any other ideas? BTW my favorite angle is from the side....
